Great service from Brompton, and the bike is just lovely. Very responsive, easy for a 63 year old novice cyclist, stable. Yep, very happy!

Absolutely amazing bike. You need to ride it for yourself to feel how good this bike is. Only problem for me was the weight carrying this in the London Underground. If you travel mainly by car and rarely take this on the train/tube this is the best bike on the market.

Having opened a couple of traditional Brompton's over the year I have to say this is a breath of fresh air! The larger wheel and improved handlebar width/frame design make the G line much more stable and feels like a full size bike. The disk brakes are powerful and progressive and can stop my 16 stone frame! The electric assistance is just right (99% of the time on level one) And on level 3 really assists!

Overall: very good. However, (1) can’t believe that Brompton still hasn’t made it possible to alter the power levels from the handlebar (2) There needs to be provision for ‘walk assist’ on the odd occasion when you need to push bike up steep hill for whatever reason. (3) Shame there’s no USB point on the battery as per previous Electric mode

A fantastic ride, feels like a full size bike and it still quickly fits in the boot of the car.

Brompton make great bikes, this model takes them to a new level. The G Line feels like a non folding bike to ride, more general purpose, more robust, more like a full size bike. I love my traditional Brompton, but the improvements on this model are impressive, lots of minor improvements, coupled with the bigger frame, bigger wheels, chunky tyres and those brakes, and it still folds, this all adds up to a better cycling experience. This bike is for my wife and she just needed a little assistance, so we went for the electric, again, the electric side is impressive (and legal) she can happily keep cycling no matter what the terrain is, and had total control of the amount of assistance the motor gives her.

I was quite convinced that an electric bike was not something that I needed yet, but my husband convinced me that we should certainly try them out.Well after my first ride I was so at ease with everything about the bike, changing gear and battery power was so simple. The bikes were just perfect when we used them on the hillier cycle routes in Wales and now can't wait to explore North Yorkshire.

Superb. The ride is fast on roads and steady on uneven surfaces. Electric assist kicks in when needed even on the lowest setting. The orange colour really makes the bike stand out.

Game changer. Been a roadie, TT rider, bit of a tourer, and now retired for some years. Still have my 3rd Brompton (6 speed) and that is a joy. However not as easy to use on our holidays and hillyish routes over the last couple of years so jumped into G line Electric. oh my word, what a game changer! Took a while to learn the use of the battery wisely, but now...... First 2 weeks in hilly Llyn peninsular, and I mean hilly, North Wales. Brilliant. Milton Keynes next (Home), excellent. To get fitness back I restrict battery use to lowest power and work hard. I cannot say how much I love this bike. Okay, so it may not suit every type of rider but then 3/4 of the bikes out there don't. And it goes in the back of my medium size car.
