The bike is fast, relatively light, very easy to fold and easy to transport, but the gears rattle loudly all the time, even though it has been set up by a specialist dealer. Parts have fallen off the bike and it is not available in all colours in the EU. It is also very expensive.

The P Line needs self-aligning hinge clamps. And also a sturdier seat post clamp. And anti-leak tires with non-Presta valves. I replaced/added all of those components immediately, added a telescopic seat post and a few other nice custom trinkets and touches. And that sealed the deal. At its heart, the P Line is superb. Fast and agile. Easy to fold and unfold. Light. Loving it!

I’ve had this bike for three weeks now and have likely ridden about 400 km across various terrains. It’s been my go-to for city commutes, where I often carry it on the train, as well as long tours in the countryside. This bike is perfect for everyday use and is lightweight. I keep it in my car, ready for any opportunity to ride. I love its modularity, with multiple options for attaching bags. The engineering behind this "simple" bike is impressive; it's clear that years of thought have gone into making it the most versatile piece of mobility on the market. However, I should mention my initial experience upon receiving the bike. The gears were completely misaligned, so I had to take it to a local Brompton store for adjustments and initial maintenance. If you order online, you might need to do the same. Despite this chaotic start, Brompton contacted the bike store and arranged for the maintenance to be covered under warranty. Overall, I’m very impressed and don’t regret choosing this over a regular C-Line. This bike is light, highly maneuverable, and with 12 gears, it's perfect for hilly areas.

Excellent bike! I am new to Brompton. I have used it now for about a week and am very happy with the bike. If you read this post, you will likely consider buying a Brompton. At that stage, I was skeptical due to the price and a test at a local retail store (on poor ground outside). After about 100km, I find the driving experience on typical grounds (street) very good. It is light, which is good for carrying it and riding it. Taking it with you on the train is super easy, and you can typically fold/unfold it there, effectively losing no time. I have not tested the C-Line or the T-Line. If I had to choose again, I might be as crazy as to test the T-Line to see whether there is a difference or whether they just make that one so expensive that you feel the P-Line is "cheap".

Thank you for your review, although I am sorry to read that your chain is skipping.
It is normal to adjust gears after the first few rides of any new bicycle. This is due to cable stretch which can occur through normal use of the bike. This can be resolved at home by following a few steps as outlined on the video below:
