I did not receive and when I complained, discovered that Brompton was aware of the issue as the courier had returned the parcel damaged....so did Brompton send me a replacement?....don't be ridiculous; they just sat on the issue pending my complaint. USELESS!

Good reflector/back light. I turn it on at night only. It has only one mode ON, but it is affordable and looks good on bike.

Does the job
I have purchased a replacement rear light. A little confusing whether the rear light should be installed with the switch on the top or bottom. You state, the light switch should be on the bottom. However, all the pictures of your Brompton bicycles have the light fitted with the switch on the top. I decided to fit the rear light with the switch on the top. This will hopefully prevent road material from entering the light switch. The rear light provides a bright red light to alert all road users.
Seems good to me. It fitted well bearing in mind it was replacing the original design rear light that was on the bike. It seems to stand out very well in terms of brightness although I would like to know why there is not a flashing option on it. Knowing Brompton there will be a good reason why it does not have the flashing option but I would be interested as to why.
If it could be made rechargeable via USB, and have different functionality modes other than on or off, I'd rate it higher. As it stands it fits well and does the job needed for a reasonable ish price.

This was a different model to the one supplied with my bike, frame number 0293130, bought on 17th. October 2009. Marked Brompton by SpanningsIt fitted the adjustable brackets. There were no details of the trypsin of cell installe
Bespoke for the Brompton. But it really should have a flash feature to extend battery life and for safety.
The main feature is that it fits on he bike and still allows you to fold it, it feels a bit cheaply made and is not as bright as I had hoped but to be fair I am comparing it to much more expensive products.
This lamp isn’t half bad is disposable battery powered which is a little downside as not rechargeable however the reflector and light it provides is decent even if it isn’t in the clearest position on the bike. Works well though until the Cateye one that goes on the seat comes back in stock.
