Our Steel Extended Seatpost in Silver is 595mm long, making it 60mm (over 2.5 inches) longer than our standard seat pillar, so riders will long legs can explore the city on a Brompton. This Steel Extended Seatpost is perfect for taller riders, with an inside leg measurement of around 33 to 35 inches. It'll mean a more comfortable journey and better riding posture, creating a better overall experience. Replacing the Standard Seatport with our Extended Steel Seatpost is as simple as it is to ride on. Simply remove the saddle from the existing post, release the seatpost clamp, slide the old seatpost out, inset the new one, and replace the saddle, then you're good to go! Ride comfortably with our Extended Steel Seatpost and make your Brompton the perfect fit for you.

Although I am not over 6ft, I was finding the standard seat post on my Brompton was just too small for my legs. So pleased that I purchased the extended seat post from Brompton. Delivered on time albeit in a bigger than necessary box - although I suppose that stops it being damaged. Very easy to fit - took minutes - and a test run today proved it was the right decision. Only question is - what do I now do with the original standard seat post? :)
