Extremely Disappointed will Not Purchase Again

Hi ... Been Users of Bronnely English Fern Cologne for 30 years. Still awaiting reply from email I sent on 28th October. Truly Disappointed in no-response.

Good afternoon

Further to my recent order placed on October 13, 2025 at 3:55 pm and todays call on 28th Oct direct to Bronnley at approximately 2pm with a chap called James.

I would like to report a complaint and express deep disappointment with Order #9613 English Fern Cologne 250ml.

It shows when using the cologne from order #9613 caused an unexpected bad skin reaction such as a rash, redness and itching crusty blisters around my friends neck (photos provided).

The photos also show differences in cologne colour.

The usual colour constancy we have always been used to from previous orders has always been a lighter shade of green.

Whereas the previous newer bottle from order #9613 the cologne colour is clearly much darker.

Due to my friends recent skin reaction to this fragrant cologne it is clear there is a problem with this product, such as a change of smell and a clear change of colour; which we believe to be presence of foreign materials in the product and/or other signs of contamination.

In addition to the reported issue above we noticed the cologne product labelling design has also changed. It was confirmed this change was made approximately a year ago. From research we have also read that a Company called Heathcote & Ivory in late 2024 has taken ownership.

Both myself and best friend Eve have been regular users of the product Bronnley English Fern Cologne for around 30 years and during this many years of usage have never experienced any skin reactions whatsoever or any discolouring problems.

Unfortunately, I would like to conclude that it is to our dismay and disappointment with the important concerns reported, we believe since the relaunch the Cologne brand is simply not the same and can only say produced differently - which is obvious by the differentiation in both smell and colour. Due to the averse unfortunate effect the chemicals/hazardous material used in the production of Cologne has had on my friends skin deem this product potentially unsafe causing skin harm and as such will be reporting this matter to Trading Standards and OPSS.

I trust you will handle this complaint with promptness. I am expecting an acceptable solution such as a refund.

We look forward to your immediate response.

Ms A Solomon

Having ordered some Bronnley soap for my wife,it's now been 3 weeks of being fobbed off with lies and still no soap,
I'm not sure if you even deal direct with Bronnley anymore as my order has gone to a company called SP BRONNLEY DIGITAL...
Not sure who they are,but they don't seem to care about the BRONNLEY name....

Shocking customer care - so unprofessional

There appears to be something badly wrong within this company and the way it's being run. I ordered soap that never arrived. I emailed sales twice ( no response). I tried phoning and got the message " no-one is available." I then tried the other number in Milton Keynes which is permanently engaged. I cannot believe this company used to provide the Royal Family with soap. Their customer care is non-existent and they show a complete lack of respect to loyal customers. They don't even send a tracking number which is so unprofessional. Whoever is now running this company has completely taken their eye off the ball. The fact they don't even bother to reply to complaints on here speaks volumes. Absolutely shocking!

Bronnley has a terrible customer care and website has wrong delivery information

The most horrendous, faulty customer care: Bronnley UK has a terrible, terrible customer care. I bought a couple of perfumes from the website. Received emails that said it was lost, when I had just bought them, phones have no one to answer, and emails have an automatic reply that no one is at the office. A called Kelli Springall has sent emails saying that Royal Mail had lost twice the order. |And then disappeared. Perfumes arrived a week later than it is stated on their website. Cannot recommend, I even thought it was a dodgy website.

The products may be OK, but beware of pricing errors on the website!

The products may be OK, but their website leaves a lot to be desired. They claimed a 'free gift' which you could add to your order was worth £10, when it was currently being sold on their website for £3.50. Delivery charges are false, you are told on one page that it will be one price, but when you complete your sale you are charged a pound more, and even then, the rate is more than what the Royal Mail charge for a tracked 48 hour parcel of that weight! When you query things by email, Bronnley customer services ignore you.
It's all a bit odd, for a company with a Royal Warrant!
