Two fences needed work, one of which is beside a pond and decorative rockery and pebbled area. The other borders a small patio with small gravel between paving stones. Both fences have been properly repaired and replaced. When getting the quote I asked if they could work ‘clean’ ie, to put the dug out soil on tarps and then remove. ‘Yes, of course’. But no. Now I have to rebuild the rockery, re-lay the ground membrane and figure out how to clean the pebbles and gravel from all the dug-out soil. My neighbour is also not too happy about the damage they did to his fence, which they mentioned nothing about. Simply not worth the hassle.
