£45 from Amazon for a 1 gallon beer brewing kit as a present from my wife. Followed the instructions to the letter. Ended up with 2 inches of thick sludge in the bottom and the rest of it looks like a glass of Horlicks. What am i supposed to do with that ? No finings were included. I've bought some to try and salvage something but i'll never - ever- go to all this trouble again for what would have been about 5 pints. Avoid.
