I cannot recommend Brookswood Automotive highly enough.
The day before I was due to go on holiday, my panoramic sunroof became stuck, almost fully open. I was understandably stressed and worried that my holiday plans might be ruined. My usual mechanic recommended Brookswood Automotive, as he was extremely busy preparing for his own holiday the following day.
When I arrived, Jay came out and looked at the car straight away, despite having a very busy workshop. From the start, he was incredibly helpful, professional, and reassuring. The sunroof appeared completely broken, and I honestly doubted it could even be closed. Jay had to remove the headliner and manually crank the sunroof shut, which was no small task.
It was a very hot day, and while I waited, Jay invited me to relax in reception and help myself to water. The staff in reception were equally friendly and welcoming. The whole garage was clean, professional, and well organised, and everyone I encountered was polite and approachable.
About 40 minutes later, Jay returned with the sunroof successfully closed. I was genuinely amazed that he had managed to fix what looked like an impossible problem. The cost was also very reasonable considering the work involved and the short notice.
Thanks to Jay and the team, I was able to leave for my holiday the following morning as planned. To be honest, I was quite emotional afterwards because I had genuinely thought I might have to cancel my trip.
Fantastic service, excellent customer care, and a team that clearly goes above and beyond for its customers. Thank you, Jay and everyone at Brookswood Automotive. You turned a very stressful situation into a happy ending.
