Just not trustworthy
Just not trustworthy. Strongly recommend shopping elsewhere. My experience is very similar to Giles, and I can fully believe Natasha's experience too. I made the mistake of purchasing 2 light fittings from Broxle about 3 weeks ago. Two days after making the
online purchase I tried to cancel the order. Shouldn't have been a problem given UK consumer rights and the refund policy the company claims to offer. So I call Broxle during their 11am to 3pm window, but guess what - there's no answer. No problems, I leave a message on the answering service and write an email requesting to cancel the order, but then a few days later I receive an automatic email confirmation that the product has just been dispatched to the courier. Err, what? When Jodie from Broxle eventually replies to a few frantic emails from me it's to say I will have to return the products after they are delivered. I write back immediately to say that the tracking information tells me the product is still 'order ready' (i.e. not in transit) according to their website, and could she please contact the courier to cancel the order, or provide me the details to do so. Needless to say these things did not happen. Over two weeks have passed since then, and the item is still listed as 'order ready' on Broxle's website. It's also been six days since my last email and they haven't even responded to tell me who the courier is, where the item currently is, or when I can expect to receive it. No one ever picks up the phone. In short, I now have little faith that I will receive the products, let alone get a refund when I return them.
