If I could choose no stars I would. I strongly discourage people buying from this company. I purchased a dress and when I got it the dress was smashed into a small bag and completely wrinkled. It also looked nothing like the picture. The worst part is now I can’t get them to respond with return instructions. I feel they may be a scam.
Negative stars would be deserved. Defective shirts and a return promise the company failed to honor.
I paid $139.98 for two Luca slim-fit denim shirts with extremely short sleeves, crude, artificial-looking bleached patches, and a missing collar snap rivet on one shirt. See the photographs.
Before taking action, Buchanan Albert required customer-service correspondence and photographic proof. I supplied both.
Its currently published policy promises a full refund or free replacement for defective merchandise, without requiring a return. Instead, I was offered a token partial refund, replacements, or the prospect of spending $40–$50 shipping defective shirts to China—with reimbursement still subject to inspection and approval.
That directly contradicts its published assurance. A company should not advertise a cost-free remedy for defective merchandise and then make the customer pay to pursue it.
I received just $19.42. The company then invoked my acceptance of that partial refund to refuse further reimbursement, leaving $120.56 unreimbursed, which I disputed.
Shoddy merchandise, misleading return assurances, and disgraceful complaint handling. Never again.
