I have been in Buckingham Bikes twice and both times I was acknowledged as soon as I entered the store which is nice. I can't remember the name of the young man who served me on my first visit but Robbie served me the second time I was in. I'm new to the sport and my knowledge is limited but both times the staff was very happy to be of service, to share information and to give advise - it's clear they have a real love for the sport. I would definitely recommend Buckingham Bikes.

I took in my MTB after responding to a flyer for a 20%off servicing deal for October. I'd had the bike for nearly 5 years and although it was kept clean it was 'well used'! Easy to book into the workshop at a convenient time. Shop suggested some sensible and economical repairs that have revitalised the bike. Good job done at an excellent price and reward points to go against future purchases or servicing. Am a returning customer and will definitely use again.

I have been a customer of Buckingham Bikes for many years. I recently purchased a "Giant Defy" - I was advised by BB to buy it, as originally I thought about a "Saracen" road racer. But I was convinced by BB that the "Giant Defy" was the right bike. And they were certainly right!....(as everyone knows:" Good advice, costs nothing!"). The "Defy" is an excellent road bike. Other times that I have visited the shop to buy: lights, clothes, tyres, etc - I always experience an exemplary service. Will always be returning...

Felt I was penalised for using the cycle to work scheme as they get charged 10%

My local bike shop for the last 10 years! I have always been well looked after, i have bought numerous bikes, parts, clothing and other bicycle related goods. The staff have always been polite and helpful and when they haven't got something in stock, they get it for you as soon as possible and always at a competetive price. Top advice is always given, and i have learnt alot from Dan and the lads over the years.

The bike we ordered was out of stock with manufacturer, leading to a protracted delay and a very disappointed little boy. However, Buckingham Bikes kept us informed and made every effort to get the bike to us as soon as was possible. Very happy with the service we received & would certainly recommend.

On receipt of the bike I had to adjust the front derailleur as it would not shift on to the big ring at all. In my opinion not a case of it being poorly adjusted, just hadn't been done/checked pre-dispatch. Just a bit disappointing as other than that service was excellent.

Would definitely recommend. Very quick and friendly and answer queries very quick.

Paid for next day delivery at £8.95 and said it would be delivered on Wednesday but got it on Friday. That caused real stress as I was leaving on a cycle holiday on Friday with a broken bike!

Got exactly what i was after having tried several other sites first. Good price, perfect service, delivered quicker than i was expecting. I know to try Buckingham bikes first in the future.

I love my new bike but I am not sure they fitted the gears as requested . Will sort it out when I take it for free service.

I received my ordered bike in good time and in perfect condition. Its was well packed and needed some assembly.

Two improvement areas that I think could be easily addressed:

1) Delivery - I had no notification of when the bike was arriving. Its was by pure chance that I was at home to sign for the package.

2) The assembly instructions were very generic and a bit light of content about the actual bike I was putting together. There should have been more detail about disc brakes.

I would use Buckingham Bikes again.
