Great customer service

Great customer service after an undelivered package. I was able to contact the team and they were very helpful. Carmela was quick to respond and sorted out a solution. I'm unsure if the original non-delivery was a fault of the company or delivery partner, but either way it was sorted.
They re-sent the two belts and it is a very good product.

Great belts, great packaging, great service.

First of all, great packaging. Opening the box is like an event. The leather belts look great --and are the ideal finishing touch to your wardrobe. The directions to cut to fit are easy follow. One tip: cut off a little bit at a time to make sure you get the optimum result. In short: Buckley Belts provided above and beyond service and delivered great belts.

Lack of Customer service help

I ordered a belt on 15 April 2026 and paid by credit card. I have never received any form of order confirmation or tracking information and do not know the status of my order. This lack of information is definitely not helpful and gives my rating of customer service a low mark.

Very Deceptive Return Policy

Buckley Belts advertises on their website that they offer 100-DAY HASSLE FREE RETURNS ( this is cut and pasted from there home page). What they don’t say is that if you cut the belt to size, it voids this policy. This means that you really can’t try the belt on. There are other companies that sell similar belts. I would most certainly try them first.

Faulty mechanism on buckle and poor Customer Service

I bought a pack of 3 Buckley Belts in October, for my husband as a Christmas present. He did not start wearing them straight away, but loved them when he did.
However, with fewer than 6 wearing's of one of the belts, the spring mechanism on the buckle failed, so he can no longer use it. Because over 100 days had passed Buckley Belts would not offer a repair, return or replacement of the buckle. Instead they offered me a goodwill 10% off buying a new one.
I pointed out that the Customer Rights Act 2015 says that if an item is faulty within 6 months of purchase that they should offer a repair or replacement of the faulty item. Sadly their customer service repeated that returns needed to be within 100days. We did not know it was faulty within the 100 days!
Therefore, despite initially liking the product, Buckley Belts Customer Services have given me a very poor response. I will not be purchasing anything from them again.
Looking at the reviews, we are not the only customers who have had a fault in the mechanism of the buckle, so be warned!

BE WARNED- BUCKLEY - YOU WILL PAY FOR RETURNS

BE WARNED: If you have a problem, even though they say you can return items, you will pay to ship them back to the company.
I ordered one Buckley ratchet belt which was on sale for $40. When I checked out, it immediately offered me another belt for $25 which I ordered. Both were shipped a week later.
The belts were advertised online as being 59" long. The belts were in a very nice box with the belt and the buckle packed separately, but when I checked, both were only 52" long. I contacted the company who asked for proof. I sent photos showing the belts next to a measuring tape.
The company offered to send me replacement belts at no charge and said to keep the other two belts on them. I accepted. Instead of sending two belts, they only sent 1 without a buckle. That belt was also short by an inch which made a difference for me.
I again contacted the company via email asking about the missing buckle and the missing 2nd belt. They said when they send a replacement they don't include the buckle. This means the two belts I could "keep" weren't really useful even to give to someone else, only possibly as a spare belt but to use with one of the existing buckles. They also offered to send another belt but at that point I said no, I want to return them all.
This is where their return policy goes south. According to them, since shipping was included on the original order, I have to pay for shipping and insurance back to Buckley. I went back and forth with them via email a few times about this.
I asked them, if I had simply returned the 2 belts originally instead of getting the replacement they offered, would they have paid for the return since the belts were not as advertised? Their answer was no, they would not.
THIS MEANS IF YOU GET A BELT OR OTHER ITEM FROM THEM AND IT IS NOT RIGHT FOR ANY REASON AND YOU NEED TO RETURN IT, YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THE RETURN. If it gets lost in the mail, you won't get anything back, so you'll need to pay for tracking and insurance. That cost me the equivalent of a 15%-20% return fee. That is not fair.
They point to their policy: "Changed your mind? No problem. You can return your order within 100 days of delivery, no questions asked — as long as the product is unused and undamaged." HOWEVER, EVEN IF IT IS RETURNED UNUSED AND UNDAMAGED, YOU WILL PAY THE RETURN POSTAGE. THEY STATED TO ME NUMEROUS TIMES IN OUR EMAIL EXCHANGES THAT THEY WILL NOT WAIVE THIS FOR ANY REASON.
While the belt seems of good quality, the fact what they sent was substantially shorter than advertised and that they don't really stand behind their products if they make a mistake, I would say to avoid this company.
FOLLOW UP - It appears Buckley reported this review as containing "harmful or illegal content". I am sure it is harmful to them because it told the truth about my experience and highlighted their policies which are not consumer friendly.
I ended up buying a ratchet belt from another company which was longer and I've been quite pleased with it.

Look into better products that may not have as good marketing

I'm extremely disappointed with this product. I purchased 3 belts, which I wear alternately at different times. One of the buckle ratchet mechanisms no longer works after 14 months. I've seen a company that stands behind the quality of their product even though it is outside their warranty. I was even more disappointed in the customer service experience. They read their policy from a script and just regurgitate it to the customer.

Expect a "100 day" quality product from a company that provides a 100 day "warranty"

No FREE RETURNS

If you don't like the belts or the fit etc.. you can return but you have to pay for the return shipping -cost me $33.00 for the small box of 3 belts that weighs 2lbs! They don't warn you on the website about that. They say NO HASSLE RETURNS-- Hardly true. If you think there is the chance of wanting to return, then don't buy from them. I'm letting everyone know - avoid this company. Make sure you have free returns if you order from anywhere.

I bought a 2nd belt after receiving one…

ETA: This is my 2nd attempt to leave a negative review. Both times they try to get Trust pilot to take it down as harmful or illegal content.
I am reporting facts and my experience with this company, staff and products.

Secondly, they have twice left a public comment saying to give them my details and they'll contact me... Both times I gave my details, both times, they didn't reply.

I bought a 2nd belt after receiving one as a gift. Before receipt of the one I bought, the original fell apart.
Poor quality leather just stretched until the buckle fell off after just after a week's wear.
This is probably partly due to poor design... The buckle seems to be designed to hold a wider belt, there's about a centimeters gap at the side when you clamp it.
I also started getting a nickel reaction from it with red welts, so it's clearly made from very cheap material.

Now, when the one I bought arrived, I knew it was a terrible product that I did not want. I informed the company and sent it back to the return address.
They claim that the return address printed on their package is not there address, and they claim I've sent it so someone else. Not them.

Unbelievable excuse - they expect me to believe that they use someone else's address as a return address!
Why would they even do that if they were telling the truth.

Anyway, this company has taken the money for 2 belts.
1 faulty and causing an allergic reaction that they wouldn't take back because it had been cut to size (how would I know it would fall apart without using it?)
The other was returned to them, but now they say they're not at the address that they provided, and kept that payment too.

Not to mention all their emails insinuating that I'm the liar here!

Terrible company.
Do not trust!

Best belt EVER!

I bought my 1st Buckley Belt about a year ago, I liked it so much that I bought 4 more. I now have all 5 colors that they offer, along with a ‘Special Edition Black Buckle,’ They are beyond exceptional, the look, feel, quality and the ease of adjusting them is worth buying them alone.
Then they advertised the Buckley Wallet, well, I’ve got that too. Of course it’s built with the same quality, not bulky or hard to use. Great company with great products. I’ll be buying more, but with the quality of these belts, it’ll probably be a long time before I have to buy another one! That is unless they come out with more colors!

A friend told me about Buckle belts and…

A friend told me about Buckle belts and how good they were. So I have
bought one - and, yes, it is amazing!

No bothering about which
hole the belt should be put in, because these belts operate on a ratchet system. You just pull the belt up to wherever you want it to be and it fits so well!

I am so glad that my friend told about it! I will definitely 💯 keep using it for my trousers 👖 in future!

Scam - Refused the warranty

First of all, the perceived quality is way less than anticipated. second of all I already read people complaining about the mechanism that is malfunctioning most of the time. And it happens to mine. The push button to undo the belt remain in which make that I cannot close my belt again !! Nice . I can only make the button go back to place with a tool ... or with I insist with my nail after 20 attempts. Frustrating indeed.
So I decide to return the product for evident reason BUT NOOOO !!!!! The very uninformed helpdesk employee that is answering my email tells me that it is not available for return because I've cut it to my size and that the warranty for the 100 days return is therefore inapplicable. To that I answered that my return has nothing to do with the 100 days satisfied or free return situation but is related to a product defect which is covered by a 2 year warranty that is in fact written on their own website and complies with French law. She replied that the only warranty they have is the 100 days one and I again is not eligible for. So basically You have zero warranty if you have a problem with your belt. So Buckley Belts is indeed a scam. Plus you will have the same product on Temu for a third of the price by the way.

The belt is not real leather

The belt is not real leather. It’s bad quality faux leather and will not stand any use.
Edit. The company asked details which I gave them: “the belt is faux leather” They didn’t answer. The reason for that might be that the leather is faux and they can’t do anything about it.

Amazing customer srrvice

Bought 1 men’s and 1 ladies belt. The ladies was perfect but the men’s buckle kept slipping. After sales customer service was amazing, got sent a new buckle that worked a treat. Very satisfied.

Buckley Belt doesn't stay tight

I purchased a Buckley Belt and the ratchet doesn't hold. I sit down and the belt loosens, and I am not big at all. Their warranty policy says it all, buyer beware!!
