Charged 126 euros for 88 euro tickets.

On June 19th I paid 126 euros for two tickets for Oct 1st 2023. My travel plans changed and I asked for a refund. They said they would only give a refund for the face value of the tickets (34,600 forints = 88 euros) if they succeeded in re-selling the tickets for me. This is very poor customer service. On the contrary, I contacted the Hungarian State Opera House directly and they were extremely helpful and explained that they do offer refunds. The lesson to be learned: never buy tickets from budapestopera-tickets.com because a) they rip you off in the first place b) further insult you by their refund policies.

Don`t buy tickets here

The price for a opera ticket, which at the opera is 19€, will at budapestopera-tickets.com have a price og 28€- I think it is robbery! If you want to cancel they will charge you 20%!
