I tired to get a refund on a tow bar that was completely useless and Roy Bennett just kept on making up excuses trying not to give me a full refund. I will never do business with Budets & TraderRacks again. Their reputation isn't good and I can assure you Royston will be reading this sooner than later. He wants to be rich by cutting corners.

Awful experience. Purchased a 'vehicle specific' trailer wiring kit for £144.30. The kit was extremely poor, required as much splicing of wires as any universal kit, and had absolutely awful installation instructions. Was told by a professional to return it and buy from a reputable seller.

Returned it to the this guy at my own expense the day I opened it. Received a 50% refund because the packaging had been opened and because I'd written the return address on the box. Laughable excuse to keep £72. They also claimed 1 washer and 2 nuts were missing, they weren't but even if they had been, £72 for a washer and 2 nuts..

Disputed it with Ben via email and he claimed the kit belonged in the trash since I'd opened it, (probably because he couldn't return it to whatever supplier he purchased it from), but offered to send it back to me, once again at my own expense. I accepted knowing I could sell the kit myself as there was nothing missing, or at the very least use some of the wiring and small parts for other projects. I paid for postage the same day, item never came back to me, surprise surprise.

Recently purchased a transit Custom and was looking for a towbar. I searched online and came across Budets who had a online chat facility. Following the chat I ordered a detachable towbar and DEDICATED wiring loom so that the original wiring would not have to be stripped or tampered with. The fitting of the towbar was straight forward but the electrics despite being a DEDICATED loom would entail stripping plugs and pins along the main wiring, the towbar fitter discouraged this and suggested I contact Budgets for an adaptor or JF Jones who do it automatically with their kits. Budets said they didn't do them and stripping the plugs and pins was necessary, Initial attemps by another fitter to strip the plugs confirmed this leaving me with no option to order another loom from JF Jones. Massively disappointed, please don't make the same mistake I did that their looms are dedicated because they are NOT. I'd like to point out the towbar itself is good, the main displeasure despite talking to Budets is the so called DEDICATED loom !!

I got an Audi A3 towbar and electrics form Budets really good price, got email confirmation of dispatch arrived when they said it would. Fitted this myself and it’s perfect. Well done Budets will be using you again for my next towbar.
