Very disappointing experience with Budgetplan.
What matters most is not when everything goes well, but how a company handles issues when they arise. In my case, that process was frustrating and not customer-focused at all.
After purchasing a kitchen appliance, a problem occurred that I believe falls under non-conformity. Instead of resolving the issue properly, I was charged a €99 service/inspection fee. I formally disputed this and explained my position, but rather than engaging in a meaningful discussion or providing a clear justification, the response was limited and unhelpful.
What followed were repeated payment reminders and eventually a formal notice threatening additional costs and collection measures. At no point did I receive a proper explanation as to why these charges were justified, despite my dispute.
In the end, I paid the amount simply to avoid further escalation. That does not mean the issue was resolved — it means the process became too burdensome.
This experience has significantly reduced my trust in Budgetplan. I would strongly advise others to carefully consider how post-purchase issues are handled before deciding to buy here. I will not be using their services again.
