Extremely poor service from Builders…

Extremely poor service from Builders Megastore. I ordered sand, MOT and cement and was promised delivery for 8:00am. Nothing arrived. When I phoned, I was told it would be delivered by 10:30am because they did not have the sand. I then had to keep chasing them, and even by midday the delivery still had not arrived. This caused unnecessary delay and inconvenience. Very unreliable service and poor communication. I would not use them again.

Dishonest, evasive, and untrustworthy.

I spent close to £4,000 with this company and what followed was nothing short of disgraceful.

At first they come across like the nicest guys in the business – polite, charming, promising to hold stock until I needed it. But when the time came to deliver, I was met with stonewalling, unanswered calls, endless voicemail, and flimsy excuses (including that my salesperson had “broken his arm”). The only way I could get through was by calling from withheld or different numbers.

When they finally agreed to deliver, they short-changed me, sending fewer items than paid for while falsely claiming more had been delivered earlier. After weeks of ignored calls and emails, the only way I recovered the missing money was by filing a chargeback through my bank. Conveniently, the company then pretended they had “spotted the error” themselves and were “investigating” all along – an “investigation” that just happened to end exactly when my chargeback went in.

This was a deliberate pattern: charm up front, avoidance once they have your money, false promises, and finally pretending to be the ones correcting things when caught out.

Do not trust these people with a penny. Unless you enjoy that sinking feeling of possibly loosing it.

Avoid these cowboys

Avoid these cowboys. Once they have your money they are uncommunicative. If you call them they will apologise and make false promises but never act. Like other customers I am having to go through my bank to get a refund due to non delivery of £2000 worth of material.
