A diamond in the city!!
I very recently stayed at the Bull Astoria Hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and cannot recommend the hotel enough!
Beautifully decorated, fantastic facilities, gorgeous staff, excellent price point and great location too.
Found out after arriving that I was literally less than 5 minutes from Las Canteras beach, some 4km long and absolutely beautiful. I wandered along it many times during my stay. This was my first city stay and of course as always read reviews on where I was going including accommodation.
This hotel was in the midst of the city but once inside the feeling was of calm, luxury and peace. The entire staff complement were friendly, polite, helpful and cheery. I found the food to be top notch! Plenty of breakfast choices, dinner too. Huge compliments to the chef, your food was beautiful, delicious and so tasty - I never had to add any condiments as it was all soo good. On floor 5 there was a lovely pool, sauna, gym, meeting area, internet cafe and outside lounging area, activity area and an inside relaxation area too along with a fab bar. Bar prices were brilliant and the upstairs area was beautiful.
20 odd minutes from airport, excellent transport connections close to hand, more typically Spanish than the touristy areas (which I loved), fantastic base for exploring and plenty to do close by. Also close and central for night life. Numerous supermarkets and restaurants close by.
Small hotel, small number of rooms, Big Congratulations to the Bull chain for your exceptional hospitality, service, accommodation including design- decor- ambience here also ethos and staff complement at this hotel. I would come back again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for an unbelievable stay.
