Abusive toxic customer service

Horrible customer service. After nearly one year, they have blocked my account. I contacted them to see what was going on and why. They said the could not change their decision and won’t tell me why either. They are treating me like a criminal for no reason. This is toxic and very abusive.

Very bad and frustrating customer support. Bumble charges you still money after you have cancelled your subscription.

Very bad and frustrating support regarding subscriptions and payments I have cancelled a week subscription 6 month ago via Google Play Store, but Bumble kept on charging me monthly 39 EUR. I have contacted customer support regarding this, and provided the proof that I have cancelled via Google Play Store, but they told me that according their Terms and Policies they cannot do a refund.

Initially ok but downhill from there

Initially I paid for a 3 month special offer subscription back in Jan 2025. I considered it a reasonable offer. Today’s pricing is outrageous especially as you can’t trust what you will see in those blurred likes or the number of repeats in the other profiles served up.
My first three months were good. I had lots of likes, went on many coffee dates and several second or third dates. But after 6 months the well dried up. Some weeks I didn’t see any new profiles but plenty of recycled ones that I had already swiped left on. They also started ignoring my kilometre radius and showing me people outside that distance. Eventually I got tired of checking as it was so fruitless.

Bumble review

I’ve tried a bunch of dating apps, but my goal has always been something casual, not a serious relationship. With that in mind, Bumble hasn’t really been the best fit for me. The app works fine and there are plenty of women on there, but most of them seem more focused on real dating and long-term stuff. So if you’re mainly looking for quick hookups, it can feel like you’re in the wrong place.

On the other hand, Yamvoo has been one of the best sites I’ve used for casual fun. The women there are usually more open about what they want, and things tend to move along faster. My tip: just be upfront in your profile. It saves time and makes things a simpler.

So yeah — Bumble is great if you want a relationship. But if you’re like me and keeping things no-strings, apps like Yamvoo have worked way better.

Scam

The app is a complete scam run by females who prefer to sit on panels than listen to the feedback being given on multiple review sites.

They do not honour the premium account features. Swipes are removed so many months in.

They do not respond to email or any form of communication in regards to complaints.

A typical liberal company pump and dump

fumble

had a photo on profile with a beauty mask, it was on my profile for a couple of years, approved by them and today they decide it breached its hate policy and "moderated " my account. You dont get to tell me what you'll do. I am the customer! I deleted my account as it was an app magnet full of "working" girls. Clearly one reported me.

Fraud

First, they charged me for a one month plan ($40) instead of a one week plan ($20).
Second, none of the people responding fit in my profile request of less than 25 miles.
Third, none of the responses fit the profile I was seeking.

I have been using bumble for 1 week…

I have been using bumble for 1 week after reading on a forum that it was free. I can already see that it is useless.

It is NOT free. I have received 2 likes and no matches. I can't see those likes, as the whole profile is blurred.
It is a bit like going on a blind date, not knowing what you are going to get.
It would be better to show the pictures and profiles. Then if I like the women, it might encourage me to message.

In my 30s (about 15 to 20 years ago), I subscribed to several dating websites with zero dates. I have no inclination to pay bumble and repeat the bad experiences.

Bumble are not interested in whether you have a relationship. Their purpose is to extract as much money out of you as possible.

The whole online dating scene is a scam.

I didn’t enjoy it. I’m not a great looking guy but lots of hidden costs to boost you etc. I spent £80 for a 3 month subscription and I hated every minute of it. Not for me.

Really is a scam and a con

Really is a scam and a con, believe all the negative reviews because they are right, I've figured out that most of the women on Bumble are actually fake.
I've managed to match a few times, and when you start to chat with them, suddenly for no reason they just stop chatting, no reason, no dodgy chat up lines or rudeness, just a nice getting to know you chat, then suddenly, nothing.
I have a weird feeling that it's fake, and they are using these women's profiles to pull you in, so you pay, something doesn't seem quite right 😡

Cash grab

I put real effort into my profile. Good photos, honest bio, decent prompts. Within minutes it starts notifying “you have likes” — but of course they’re blurred unless you pay. So I paid

And it still felt pointless. Likes would show up and then disappear. Matches would vanish. Chats would just die, even when things seemed normal. A lot of profiles felt fake or like people were just there to kill time

I’m done. 1 star

Not designed to make you meet people, just a money grabbing scheme

There's me thinking it will be designed to help people meet. Actually its designed to make both parties not able to communicate. I paid for the lifetime package as 6 months was only a bit cheaper, so that wad £170 ish. What I have found after speaking to some womem, is that the men pay gor it and women dont! If i send a like, lots of women say they cant see likes! If i wanted to send a message, that costs extra so you will have to pay per message on top of your subscription. Really what is happening, is bumble is taking advantage of poor desperate men, making a subscription almost useless, its just a money making scheme. My experience of using it thats its got a constant undercurrent of, here pay more.
