Helen was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and informative at our appointment. Plenty of time was spent explaining the procedure (frenectomy) complications and aftercare. Really couldn’t recommend more highly.

Helen also spent time with us after the procedure to give us as first time parents plenty of helpful tips and gave us an invitation to her mother and baby group. It was so refreshing to feel like someone cared and to not feel rushed. It felt like Helen genuinely wanted to see us thrive as parents and give our child the best head start.

Helen was fantastic in explaining about tongue ties and if my baby had one what the procedure to release would look like. She was quick, efficient and relaxed in checking my little boy and was able to confirm he did have a tongue tie.
We then discussed the benefits and risks of release and Helen was very knowledgeable and could answer every question I raised.
The procedure was Carried out swiftly and with all expected safeguards in place. Aftercare exercises were explained and an email sent afterwards with a helpful video guide on how to do these at home.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Helen

Helen took her time to explain the tongue tie division procedure thoroughly and explain the risks. She recommended we try osteopathy first rather than doing the procedure and taking the money- a very honest person.
She did not rush us at all and gave us plenty of time to come to a decision and provided the information on osteopaths for us to review.

Highly recommend Helen for tongue tie assessment and division if needed. We had conflicting advice and were on the NHS waiting list and just needed clarity and Helen absolutely provided that. She gave me time at the start to fully explain our experiences and knew all the research and evidence to share with us. The division was thoroughly explained and done very quickly and we’ve had follow up to check how things are going. Transformed my breastfeeding experience and I’m so grateful.

A really open, informative consultation regarding a tongue tie division. Helen was very helpful, kind and patient. I felt fully informed and reassured and the procedure was straight forward.

Very informative & knowledgeable. Friendly throughout and answered our numerous questions. All pro’s and con’s were discussed and there was definitely no pressure to go ahead with the procedure!! Definitely 100% recommend!!

We went to helen with our 3 months old baby after 2 months of struggling with feeding and being referred to so many people who all said he has a "slight" tongue tie that shouldn't be what's causing the problems. She was the one to tell us actually how severe his tongue tie was. She used a scoring tool to determine if releasing the tongue tie would help the baby or not. She is friendly and knows what she is doing. I can't recommend her enough.

After the appointment, Helen followed up with a summary of findings, aftercare protocol and exercises to prevent tie re-attachment. Overall, a very efficient & thorough service from Helen. 

My baby is now feeding well and her symptoms associated with tongue-tie have greatly improved in just a matter of days.

I went to see Helen after being advised my baby required a tongue tie division by the feeding team. She completed a thorough assessment, and walked me through the procedure and associated risks. Helen was very reassuring throughout the process, made sure I understood everything as we proceeded, and has provided me with the required aftercare information. It's really helped with the problems I was experiencing with breastfeeding (I had been working with a lactation consultant for positioning etc.). Overall, I'm very happy with the service provided and I would recommend to others!

I visited Helen with my six month old baby, following ongoing feeding issues that were hugely impacting us both. Helen’s professional expertise and guidance finally identified a tongue tie that had been missed by the lactation specialists I had met before and Helen was able to address it. I couldn’t be more grateful for how caring and supportive Helen was throughout an emotional appointment and would highly recommend her.

We saw Helen yesterday as we had suspicions that our 1 week old had a tongue tie due to breastfeeding difficulties, experiencing very similar challenges to our son who did have a tongue tie. Helen was extremely knowledgable and professional and had a lovely manner. She had excellent consultation skills, she listened to our concerns, was patient, answered all our questions and provided us with evidenced based practice. We like that Helen spoke about the pros and cons and whether it would specifically benefit our daughter and our feeding experience. Following discussion and assessment that confirmed she did have a tongue tie, we did go ahead with the division. It was very successful and over within seconds and our daughter remained asleep for the duration. We will definitely be recommending Helen to others. 10/10 experience and service. Thank you Helen.

Took my 11 week old son to see Helen today and she was absolutely fantastic! She answered all my questions and address all my concerns prior to the tongue tie division,
He also drank 2 6oz bottles when we left which he's never been able to do before!

When our little one was born born, we were told by a MW that she had a "posterior tongue tie" but it shouldn't affect breastfeeding. After 10 weeks of trying to push through the pain, and persevere, I finally booked in to see Helen at Bump Boobs Babi.
We arrived a little early as we were nervous and she put us at ease straight away! She was soooo lovely. We sat down and she actually listened to what i was going through. She asked questions. Then did an oral examination and found that my daughter does actually have an unusual tongue tie that was very short and inelastic, causing her latch issues and weak suckling. It was all very validating as I was at a point of giving up as I thought I was just bad at breastfeeding. Helen went over the risks and we went ahead with the tongue tie division and it was all over with very quickly, and little one was placed straight on my breast to nurse. The difference in her suckling was instantaneous!! And her latch is getting better each day! Helen then gave us exercises to do with her at home.
Later that day we got a email from Helen detailing our appointment, giving an overview, and her findings. She then followed up a few days later asking how we were doing.
