Burger King (just as bad as KFC)

Burger King, Manchester Rd, Burnley

I posted a review yesterday when I tried to order KFC (bottom of the review) during Man City v Forrest, couldn’t order as the KFC review below tells,

So I decided to order from Burger King, a plain burger took all the things of off deliveroo to make it plain, mayo, lettuce etc, it comes fully loaded with all the trimmings not plain at all.

They also missed a bag of fries just for good measure also 🤷🏼

Complete waste of time

Trafalgar St KFC Burnley (don’t like having new customers apparently 🤷🏼)
The issue is with a specific KFC store (and their deliveroo page)

(So Tried to call the store at Trafalagr St KFC in Burnley. They didn’t answer the phone after a few dotted attempts (just wanted to ask for a plain burger as the deliveroo website won’t let you edit the order, it just lets you add more items on the dot tab, +£2 for gravy, or +£5 for popcorn chicken etc, but won’t actually let you edit the order itself, which is ridiculous 🤷🏼 (Burger King and McDonald’s on deliveroo, when you click edit, allows you to; add or take away; cheese, mayo, ketchup etc.

I tried the same process again today, again I tried calling the restaurant many times so I can order the item online as it comes (not plain) and then request over the phone they make the burger plain.

They didn’t pick up, and interestingly this time I was being directed to a recorded message saying ‘we can’t get to the phone’, unlike just ringing out on the weekend.

Haven’t called at a ridiculous time, first thing, during a changeover or just before closing time, and left plenty of time betwee calls, and sometimes just after with no luck ever 🤷🏼

I didn’t buy anything so I know I’m not a customer, but what a joke, I really wanted to be your customer KFC, You’ve just lost £14 KFC, I’ve now happily gone for the whopper at Burger King instead 🖕🏼)

Shocking service all round

Ordered burger king through uber eats to the value of £44 for my family while I was at work
Food turned up cold and unedible and ended up in the bin
I raised a dispute with uber eats and was offered a shocking £3.29 which I declined to accept and was told the food left on time I have ordered from my local burger king trinity walk Wakefield on numerous occasions and haven't had any issues previously.
I have therefore closed my uber eats account as have my friends and family as for burger king either they're sending out food cold or the timings in which they are sent are wrong.
It's a shame as I do love a burger king but this experience has put me right off

Cold burger

Ordered no problem. Delivery on time no problem.
Most of the food warm to hot no problem. Bit into the burger and it felt close to frozen… never again.
Burger King is not cheap and you have to make allowances for delivered food but this was horrible.
The fact that the rest of the food was warm to hot leaves no excuse.

not that bad!

i think it was very nice! though we ordered online, the lady could not find us, and we were very hungry, and my drink was missing, which was a disappointment, so i had to share drinks. But overall, very nice foood, just next time make sure you have everything before you chuck it to us :)

Avoid ordering from this website... Waste of time

Was trying to make quite a large order and on each of the 5 attempts it said error with payment. Even confirmed with my bank that I was using my credit card for this transaction. Checked my account later on and the money has been taken from my account. I know it will probably go back in a few days time.... But why even take the money in the first place of the error suggests that it is my card that is the problem? Annoys me that they are advertising this website from the restaurant windows even though the site is clearly faulty

Extremely bad service and likely fraud site!

Extremely bad service. I have placed an order 2 times through here and both times not delivered, and no response as to why. I still have not received a refund for my first order! Watch out, they might be a fraud site, as payment shows as "luxembourg" anyway, use deliveroo guys!

Fraudsters

I entered my order and it kept saying there was a problem with it when I went to pay. As there was an error I kept trying until eventually giving up and going somewhere decent. Surprise surprise, they have taken the money 8 times from my account and didn't deliver anything. Just spoken to head office who say I have to ring a premium rate number to speak to customer service to get my money back. WRONG - I have just called the Metropolitan Police and reported the directors of Burger King for fraud and theft from my card. They are duty bound to go and arrest them now. Please all follow the same route if you're defrauded by these crooks. I will never eat in their crappy establishments again.

Amazing service!

We got a leaflet in the post letting us know Burger King was now delivering in our area (Northampton) so we decided to try out. I was a bit worried because the site seemed to have a couple of technical issues but what a lovely surprise to hear the doorbell after just 10 minutes! (The site was forecasting between 30 and 60min) Very happy with the service and will definitely use again!
