Amazing website, emailed info with request for help and information regarding two plants late Saturday afternoon. Received friendly informative reply on Sunday morning. I found the price point of plants very competitive and the details relating to every aspect of each plant are the best I've ever seen. Placed order for number of plants and I'm confident they'll be everything I hope for when they arrive.

Burncoose nurseries had my parcel delivered to my old address. This is despite them having my new address . In essence I have lost £40.00. I won’t be using them again

I wish other online companies took as much care in making sure that the plants arrived in as good condition, as Burncoose obviously have. I will definitely recommend them.

Easy website to use both to explore plants and to place an order.
A great amount of plant information.
Most important though was the care taken in packaging so that the plant arrived in great condition.

Made an online order and received my plant promptly as described and well packaged, it looks healthy and I'm excited to have it. Price was reasonable and I will for sure be buying again!

Reasonable selection of plants, but poor customer service. Unfriendly, understaffed and disorganised. Wouldn't recommend

Paid for euphorbia plants in 1L pots. When they arrived many of them had recently been repotted from smaller pots as evidenced by the root bound shape of the roots. The new compost was all of the boxes and several of the plants were on their sides out of pots. I feel let down. I paid an average of £10 per plant. They were smaller than expected and a few just had a single stem.

Excellent service including telephone conversation, speedy delivery of well packed plants, prices more than reasonable, quality of plants delivered faultless.
Having used various on-line retail nurseries for a number of years Burncoose is now my default.

Ordered 2 magnolias from Burncoose and was very pleased to receive 2 lovely, healthy specimens; exactly how they looked in the photograph on their website.
Packaging was superb and the plants arrived in a perfect condition.
It was the first time ordering from this firm and will be ordering more from them.

Poor customer service following delivery damage. Our property was damaged during delivery in September 2025 - gate post and dog bowl broken. Despite providing evidence immediately, three months later still no resolution. Company repeatedly claims we haven't provided information (we have) and refuses accountability, directing us to deal with their courier instead. Unacceptable and reportable experience. // Their response below on 18th has one false statement after another. They have been reported to citizen advice who has also escalated to Trading standards. Unacceptable all around, defeats their business and estate at so many levels.

I understood that Burncoose have an excellent reputation in the plant world so I had no hesitation in registering an online interest with them in March 25 for a Magnolia Royal Purple. I contacted them by phone midsummer to check things were on track and this was confirmed by them. Not having heard from them by August I emailed for information and received a response from Ali who told me I was on the list and I would be contacted by email as soon as the tree arrived. In fact she helpfully put my name down again just to make nothing went wrong. I rang again in October when I was informed it would be Nov/Dec for delivery, I was on the list and would be emailed etc. When I hadn’t heard anything by 5/12 I rang again, only to be informed that the trees had actually all arrived and been sold already. It’s a very rare tree (which I already knew and why it had been requested long in advance).
I cannot express how disappointed and angry I feel having been treated in this manner by a company who are supposed to be among the best. If I hadn’t contacted them I would still be waiting in expectation of an email.
I will certainly not order from this company again.

I CAN ASSURE YOU THE PLANT WAS WATERRD. HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME OF NOT WATERING. PERHAPS YOU COULD EXPLAIN HOW ALL THE OTHER PLANTS IN OUR GARDEN ARE FINE? NEITHER DO PLANTS "DIE A SUDDEN DEATH". NOT THE TERMINOLOGY ONE WOULD EXPECT FROM A REPUTABLE NURSERY. RHS WILL BE INFORMED OF YOUR STRANGE USE OF HORTJCULTURAL TERMINOLOGY

Assumed this was a reputable nursery but obviously not. Don't order from this nursery as they don't guarantee their plants. They also use some strange terminology when describing what "could" have happened to the plant. Not what you would expect from a REPUTABLE NURSERY

Troublefree online purchase of Hydrangea quercifolia "Alice" as a gift. Had it delivered to my home address. It arrived within 3 days, was very well packaged and was an excellent quality plant. Postage for one plant was a little pricey but that was to be expected as it was only a single plant that I bought and it was very well packaged/delivered. Will use this nursery again.

One of the best plant nurseries I have ever used: wide variety of plants, ordering is easy, plants arrive in very good condition and there is lots of useful information about the plants on the website.

An exceptional nursery, the plants are always well grown and of good quality. I have ordered a hundred or more plants over the years and never had one which didn't succeed.

I have made a good few purchases from Burncoose and everything has been excellent. Plants are great and unlike some nurseries, they are packed really well and arrive in good shape. I thoroughly recommend them.

Th ordering process was fine but the delivery was something else. I got no indication that the parcel has been despatched, no indication of the courier being used, and no tracking information.
I have a security system that told me when someone entered my property. I saw him look down the side of the house where he could have left the parcel in a safe place, out of sight and in shade but he went to the front door and left it on the doorstep in full view of the road and in direct sunlight.
Don't use Burncoose if you want your plants delivered to a safe place.

The best of companies to do business with. Fast, reliable service and quality healthy plants arrive in the strongest of containers.

Excellent service. Postage was a little on the high side. That said my tree arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. Definitely consider using Burncoose again.
