We asked for a baby seatand they told us we could hold the baby on our legs. When we arrived there was a car seat instead but nobody told us.
The driver was very rude and grumpy and answered poorly.

"Regarding regulations for younger children when traveling on a tourist bus: When the bus is equipped with seat belts, the following rules apply:
• Children aged 3 and above are required to use a seat belt.
• Children under the age of 3 may sit without a seat belt.
• If a child seat or cushion is available on the bus, children aged 3 and up to 135 cm in height should use it. (Customers must provide their own child seat!)
In cases where the bus does not have seat belts:
• Children are allowed to sit without seat belts, just like other passengers.
It is the customer's responsibility to bring a car seat for children if they wish to use one."
I acknowledge the unfortunate experience you had with the driver's behavior, and it's regrettable that there may have been a language barrier issue, possibly affecting their proficiency in English.
In any case, I sincerely hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

Had a wonderful experience. Both with coordinating thru Busbooking and the driver. I worked with Kim, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our bus driver was prompt and on time and semi-friendly. I think there was a little bit of a language barrier, but overall, very happy with the service.

Very bad Customer Service - Stay Away from Busbooking.dk!
Busbooking.dk seemed helpful when wanting to book a service but very bad when we needed their customer service!
I booked a pickup service from Kolding Station to Kolding Youth Hostel for Sunday 25 June 2023. I specifically asked for contact details for the bus company and for busbooking.dk (phone numbers) in case we would incur delays, however, were only provided a phone number with a recorded message when we needed to contact the company, we were not given the contact details of the actual driver.
On the day of travel, we had a train cancelled and would arrive late at Kolding, and without the phone number of the driver it was impossible to call the bus driver and advise them of the delay. Instead the bus driver called me (he had been given my contact details) after pickup time. This was surprising as I had provided the train details of our connection, and the driver should have checked the train and called us the moment the train showed up as cancelled!
The driver was not able to provide a number for me to call somebody at the bus company, and said he would wait at Kolding Station. Shortly afterwards the bus driver called again and said that he was leaving and there would be no bus for us when we arrived.
We had thus paid for a service that was not delivered, and we had no way of contacting the bus company or busbooking.dk (the busbooking.dk number only took me to a phone answering service advising office opening hours Monday to Friday), I notice that busbooking.dk in their response below claims that calling their number outside business hours would forward the caller to their 24/7 emergency service, however, this is NOT TRUE. The recorded message, in Danish only, does refer to a number to call but unless you speak Danish (I do not), it is impossible to decipher the number and you are certainly not forwarded when calling their office number. (I just tried to call the office number at midnight in Denmark and verified the statement above).
After the event we have tried to obtain a refund from busbooking.dk as they failed to provide proper contact details and also as they failed to deliver the service we paid for, however, busbooking.dk has refused to refund the service not delivered and basically blames us for being delayed and provide UNTRUE statements about calls to their office phone outside business hours being forwarded to their 24/7 emergency number.
For me this is very bad Customer Service, and my recommendation is to stay away from busbooking.dk - if you need to book a bus, contact a bus company directly and ensure you get valid contact details in case of a delay.

Thank you for your review and your own interpretation of the process with our service. For the readers of this comment, it should be mentioned that we have had quite a bit of dialogue regarding this matter by email and telephone as well. And we have gone through the matter thoroughly with our business partner (the bus company) in order to become aware of the circumstances.
As I have written to you by email, it is of course extremely unfortunate that your train is cancelled – and in this regard we totally feel with you. It's always sad when the travel plan is disrupted by circumstances that you are not in control of. And in your case, these circumstances were a cancellation of your train from Hamburg to Kolding – nothing neither you nor we could control. And resulting in a +3 hours of delay to a 6,5 minutes trip with our bus.
However, I do not completely agree with your interpretation of the process thereafter.
In every dialogue you have had with us, you have been referred to a number at Busbooking, which you could contact in all cases. This is also specifically mentioned in the mails sent directly to you. And this phone will be answered personally during office opening hours. But if you call outside the office's opening hours, you will instead be forwarded to an emergency phone.
And although you may well have called our main number, you have not forwarded yourself to our emergency phone - which is otherwise staffed 24/7.
Our phone saves all history of calls. And I see that you haven't tried to contact our emergency telephone even once. So, I also don't think it's fair to write that we weren't contactable when they were told on the answering machine that you could be forwarded to a contact person who could help you.
If you had contacted our hotline, we could certainly have helped to find another solution, as we have the opportunity to get help and rearrange in these situations.
I am sorry that this is the feeling you have had in association with using our service platform. But as I see it, we have not been able to do anything else to meet your challenges and solve your problems. And unfortunately we cannot refund your payment when our supplier has fulfilled his obligations.
When we didn't hear anything from you, we were ready with a bus at the agreed time at Kolding Station. And you didn't bother to either call our hotline or write an email – only hours later when you had arrived at your destination.
As I stated in my last email you will probably be able to get compensation from the train company though - considering it was their train that was delayed.
I hope you had a good trip in Denmark after all.

The bus was nice and clean and the drivers were very helpful when stacking the baggage compartments and were kind and fun.
The people at the Busbooking office were also very helpful, payment was secure and they sent out all information needed very quickly after booking the bus. 10/10 would recommend it!
