Buses have been consistently late

Buses have been consistently late, with some services not showing up at all, and now even more routes have been cut. It’s becoming increasingly unreliable for daily commuting, causing unnecessary stress and delays.

If you rely on public transport, I would strongly recommend planning alternative routes where possible, whether that’s using different bus lines, cycling, or flying on a broomstick. Would be far more reliable as a means of transport.

Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful, me and two other girls were waiting for the bus in Castlerea to athlone and it didn’t even drive into the bus stop. We waved and shouted and ran after the bus yet the driver still wouldn’t stop. We then had to wait two hours for a following train, safe to say we’re never relying on an irish transport system EVER again!!!!

Hour delays

I write as I wait for the bus. It's been an hour. Bus drivers the most angry people you will meet in your life. Don't give anyone a chance to sit down after getting on the bus. Very rude. Unreliable times.

Utter Disgrace

I have just had the most disgusting experience travelling on your service.
I boarded the 51 at Galway bus station to travel to Shannon airport.
I was seated near the toilet on the bus when a young lady attempted to use it about halfway through the journey.
She was unable to access the toilet as it was locked and because I was seated closeby she asked me if anybody was inside.
I told her that I was sure that nobody was inside as since the beginning of the journey nobody had used the toilet.
When the bus stopped at Gort, I approached the driver and asked her if the toilet was in service.
The driver informed me that the toilet was not in service and immediately told me that in future I should not drink before boarding the service.
I was absolutely stunned and informed her that I had not been drinking and whether I had or not was none of her business and informed her that it was not me but rather a young lady that needed to use the toilet. I enquired as to whether the young lady had time to visit a local restaurant to use the toilet and was informed, no.
The driver then told me that I needed to be quiet otherwise I would be removed from the bus.
I have never been spoken to like that before in my life and have absolutely no hesitation in informing you that in my opinion this particular driver is an absolute disgrace and should not be in a customer facing role.
This particular driver is ignorant and rude.
I will be taking this matter further.

Drivers would be dangerous if competent

These drivers would be dangerous if they could communicate anything beyond "I'm in a rush". Three driver changes on the EXPRESSWAY bus and not a single one could be bothered to even call back "lads we're stopping for a few minutes". Additionally pulled away before I and others were fully seated, and I am a full-time mobility aid user with a physical disability, and the first driver genuinely seemed like he'd never driven outside a city with the way he handled rural roads.

Bus cancellation

Not that they are going to see this because if they did then they would actually improve their bus service. For the past 3 years I have been taking the 101 route to and from college. For those 3 years it has always been terrible and inconsistent but I just put up and shut up. However, this past week really takes the cake. In this past week alone I have had 4 buses cancelled, 2 not show up and been skipped by 9. Now im no genius but those statistics sounds wrong dont they. Literally today as I write this review I have been waiting at a bus stop to go home for the past 2 hours (101 is meant to run every 25-minutes 🙃). Now I'm not getting upset at the bus drivers as they cant help it but surely the higher ups can figure out a better way of running one of their most popular bus routes. I mean really, how hard could it be because sometimes it really feels like there is just no one running this company and they just pick and choose where and when they wanna show up.

Got the 115 to Maynooth

Got the 115 to Maynooth, stood up at the bustop that stops at the Glenroyal hotel, the driver started shouting this is not a drop off point, I said I seen people getting off here before, he also said liffey valley stop is not a drop off point. I said so I can't get off this stop, he began shouting, he made a show of me going on and on. A horrible rude aggressive man thinks he can bully people

Very dangerous driver Route 402 Galway

In all fairness the bus driver was very polite and friendly to all the passengers. However his driving was nothing short of dangerous. He was so fast, kept hitting the curb and at one point was on his phone. How did he get a license?

Traveling on line 23 Dublin- Sligo

I traveled from dublin to longford (line 23)on Sunday morning, 21 st December and needed to change the time of the return trip the next day.
Even though this was a busy period, the bus driver went out of his way to help me. He managed to cancel my ticket and got me a new ‘special’ ticket
It’s so nice to see someone so humane and helpful
I would like to pass on my thanks to him and wish everyone at Bus Eireann a very Happy Christmas

Bus Éireann is shit

Bus Éireann is such a joke. I have to take the Newry bus and the bus drivers are not only rude, they ignore me at the stop. It takes me 40 mins to walk to town and the bus comes every 2 hours. i could be waiting for an hour as the bus times are so unreliable and i’m there freezing waiting for a bus. Today was just my last straw, it was lashing and i left my home to get the bus and i got to the bus stop and the bus just passed me. so i’m here walking in the pouring rain and this isn’t the first time this has happened. I hate bus eireann, it’s left me stressed, sick and overwhelmed. I was even late to college many times which effects my attendance and final grade due to these incompetent bus drivers who are extremely rude and inconsiderate.
