AppleCarplay

Toen ik deze zomer een gebruikte MINI kocht zat er geen Apple Carplay in. De verkoper legde contact met business4cars om de mogelijkheden te bespreken. Voor €839 bouwden zij Apple Carplay in mijn auto in. Bij het gebruiken van het systeem bleek echter mijn touchscreen niet te werken in de AppleCarplay modus, wat ontzettend onhandig is in gebruik. Onlangs kwam ik in contact met iemand die veel verstand heeft van communicatiesystemen in auto en volgens hem was deze hele instalatie overbodig en kon Apple Carplay worden geactiveerd door toevoeging van een simpele WIFI antenne van €15,00 en inderdaad. Na demontage van de CarOptions box en inpluggen van de WIFI antenne werkte Apple Carplay inclusief touchscreen. Ik heb Business4cars benaderd voor terugname maar dit werd geweigerd. Ik neem het niemand kwalijk dat er fouten worden gemaakt, die maak ik immers zelf ook. Maar zorg er dan ook weer voor dat die fout fatsoenlijk wordt rechtgezet en financieel wordt gecompenseerd
