Auto renewal without any notice.
We bought a database plugin from this company to support a new web service. In the end we didn't use the plugin, and forgot about the sub.
A year later it emailed me, not with a "you have this service, do you want it, may we invoice you" message but with a "we have invoiced you" message for a service I did not recall and in USD. I took the message for a scam and deleted it.
A few days later the charge appeared on my credit card, with no clear reference, it did not even mention the name of the company.
I challenged the charge with my bank. Two hours of searching revealed that the charge had come from these guys. No phone number of course.
I eventually got what seemed to be a human, who promptly offered to refund the charge, but deducting 10% "for admin". I had no option but to submit.
This was the renewal message....

Your maintenance and support have been extended one year. Your current expiration is February 20, 2027 and your credit card was successfully charged $249.00.
Not a happy experience. No idea what the product or service is like, never used it.
