Very disappointed with service and the expensive lesson. Waisted 3 days and paid over $1,000 for work that didn't need to be performed. I reported a thumping sound from the left front of the car. Butler technician stated he didn't hear a noise, but indicated the left side was hotter than the right side, so they replaced a part. When I picked up the car the noise was still there after I pulled away from the shop. I was asked to give them another chance to fix the problem. I took the technician out around the block, and he stated, yeah, I hear the sound. Well, they failed the second time as well; they swapped the part to opposite side. The final result? Thumping noise persists. The manager stated he took the car out and could not hear a "thumping noise," but in the same breath stated, "I hear a little tire noise, but that's all. Horrible! I think they realized they made a mistake. Insult to injury, my sister riding in the car for the first time: We drove 100 yards when she asked: "What's that noise, is it coming from the car?" Get a second opinion before you sign off on work for this Butler location. I will never again trust "Butler" to do it.

You can trust Butler to repair your car or motorcycle, or to tell you when you don't need an expensive repair. I visited them because another mechanic had told me that one of my cars needed a new alternator. Butler assessed the problem, correctly diagnosed an issue with the battery instead of the alternator, and recommended ways to minimize the cost of the repair. I'll be back the next time I need a car repair!
