In lockdown we started delivering sourdough loaves and pastries to our neighbours. Now we're delivering our weekly bundles to thousands of households across South London. We deliver early on Saturday and Sunday mornings so that you can start your weekend with fresh bread and pastries waiting for you on your doorstep. Every bundle is delivered directly by us, by bicycle.

I LOVE Butter & Crust.
I have been with them since the very beginning..and the quality has always been top notch!! I love the bread and get it every single week...but I also love their bagels (and as a NewYorker that is saying a lot!) The butter and the apple juice are also fantastic! I haven't ventured beyond that, but apparently since I started the have added lots of new things.
I must admit, in the beginning there were some growing pains with deliveries...but those have long since been ironed out! I couldn't be happier with this delightful service.

Missing items
Nursing a bank holiday hangover and so awaiting my Sunday milk and pastries delivery with more excitement than usual. What pastries might I receive this week? A lemon and poppyseed muffin? A lemon & thyme swirl? Unfortunately nothing, as they forgot to put the pastries in the bag.

The customer service and deliveries are excellent! Quality of bread and pastries are superb. Although it’s not cheap, the quality more than makes up for this and weekend deliveries are so convenient. Would thoroughly recommend.

Avoid until CX improves
Great concept - however too many issues on separate occasions to ignore:
Delivery was problematic - the parcel was left in rain - making the bag and the bread soggy.
Delivery was clearly for two parcels - one was delivered and the other one appeared much later - causing unnecessary stress at 5.58 am on Saturday morning trying to track the delivery man.
Some of the products contain animal fat - as a strict vegetarian I discovered this AFTER eating and had to throw the whole box of sweet treats away. This needs to feature prominently at point of purchase on the website. I complained directly to customer service but have received no response. DISAPPOINTED!
PS: Delivery was by car not environmentally friendly bike as advertised.

Lazy Sundays are complete!
I love this concept! We've recently had a baby and getting out the house in a morning can be a challenge. This has been perfect for giving us a little pick me up, after some long nights.
We initially had a problem with delivery, as I live in a development with a concierge who don't always take food deliveries and therefore a usual doorstep delivery was tricky. However, their customer service was great at understanding and they manage to leave it at the door of our flat, on the sixth floor.
A perfect start to lazy Sundays!

Beautiful bread & bagels! We buy both the Scandinavian rye and the seeded sourdough plus a variety of bagels. They go down a treat with both family and guests! We also buy a few other bits such as the butter (which I love) and the apple juice (which my children adore). I really appreciate small local businesses and am pleased to support Butter & Crust as well. Wins all round!

After making an order I made the mistake of not checking the date.silly me .but after emailing this company and explaining to a very efficient and understanding lady called Anne she solved my problem with a full refund immediately.
