Bait and Switch tactics!
I take very good care of my phone I had a case on it from day one and kept it like new. The original apple box was pristine and included. When I packaged the phone, it looked so great that I thought they might even upgrade the condition from Very Good to Like New. I feel they used bait and switch tactics and rated it fair. I reluctantly have accepted their offer and will take that as a lesson learned. I wish I had taken the time to better research this company and read reviews.

I will sum this up by saying I will not use them again. The whole was easy and fasted on the evaluation. 340 seemed like a good price. The price got cut to 214 due to light scratches. Not sure where they were as this phone was not used and was shipped with a case. So I I just got screwed.

Super Easy and Exactly as Expected
The whole process was super easy and everything went exactly as expected. I've sold an iPhone like this every year for the past 4 years and this was just about the easiest experience so far. There's always a fear that they are going to appraise your item lower than the initial estimates once received but the payment was exactly as promised. I received status updates by email throughout the process, and the payment arrived on time. My only suggestions for improvement would be to have status updates available in an online account rather than waiting for emails. I will definitely sell to them again next year!

My original estimate of value was $301…
My original estimate of value was $301 for my iPhone 16e. I think I was objective in evaluating my phones condition and carefully examined it for scratches prior to sending it in. Suddenly my phone had "scratches on the display" and after several surprise fees for downgrading my phones condition to average. I end up getting $198.00. I won't make this mistake again!!
Edit: After posting the above review I did hear back from Buyback Boss. Although they stand my their evaluation of my phone's condition they did offer to raise the value of my buyback to the $281.00 original estimate. I thank them for their customer focus. I am adjusting my rating accordingly.

A very nice surprise…
Completed review process on website and given initial dollar amount to sell my IPhone 15 Pro Max. Upon receiving the phone, they inspected it finding it was in better condition than they anticipated, on their own they increased my payout which they didn’t have to do. A very nice surprise.
