I bought the full hide that had a deep Price cut because the company could not verify or confirm the color. This is what I had said I would prefer: 1. Color Preferances: Natural, ivory, Light taupe,
Beige, Light beige, Sand beige, light earthtones.
NOT White. I was so surprised when the leather arrived. It was a beautiful natural colored hide.

If u present youself like international company u also must work in August, it already second time when i get super stress with recieving order. We wrote i dont know how many times....u promise one service in reality totally diffirent.

I love this online store (I've purchased here many times). They sell a wide variety of really high quality Italian leather for incredibly reasonable prices. They have offerings from famous tanneries, as well as un-named, but still high quality Italian leathers. Veg tan and chrome tan. Goat, lambskin, calfskin, bovine. And they provide splitting as well, which is great for small makers like me who cannot do splitting on my own.

The packaging is also fantastic. I live on the Pacific Coast of the United States, so it's a long trip from Italy. The leather is completely sealed in multiple layers of thick plastic to ensure that no moisture or damage occurs. Much better than most sellers in this regard.

My only real complaint is simply that their product photography on the website isn't so great. You often don't get a very clear idea of what colors and textures will look like. In some cases there isn't a photo so you have to buy blind. It can be a bit of a guessing game to figure out what you'll get some times. If they improved this, they'd be unbeatable.

Customer service is great. They responded quickly and offered solutions. I really value that very much. Thank you.
Their prices are good, selection is huge and I find it very practical to have a one stop shop for my leather. They pack the leather well again (compared to the eco-friendly packaging they introduced last year), so there is less damage from shipping. Now that I'm done with the good, I'll get to the bad.
I am getting tired of complaining about leather that is undersized or should have been classified as a lower grade. I have received much nicer and cleaner leather in the past from them. I do buy on a regular basis, so I do notice the difference.
That said, I will give them a mediocre rating this time around, because the last two deliveries have been so-la-la. Even the Minerva Box, Wax and Pueblo leather from Badalassi did not impress me this time around. The leather I received from La Perla Azzurra was amazing though.
The Premium Baby calf suede nappa (especially the dark purple) has a lot of nicks and deep gouges. The double butt baby calf suede isn't that good, but the colors are very pretty in real, especially the fuchsia. I have to cut away and around quite a bit. Had to use a whole piece to line a small handbag.
I am very particular about my leather, so maybe my expectations are just too high, but they have "wow-ed" me before, so I hope they do it again soon.
