I reported a battery issue and my experience trying to return lithium batteries back to sellers and UPS always sends me back my return with hazardous materials stickers on it. They didn't seem to care over the years my attitude about businesses have changed if you ask me to jump through hoops I won't do business with them anymore which is a shame I was about to spend probably about 1500 to 2000 dollars on equipment to build a repeater now that business is going somewhere else.

There isno better place to buy your GMRS radios and related stuff. The staff is always friendly and exteremely helpful and the tech support is in my book top notch. John is a genius and always come through when I need it. He exteremely knowledgeable and a computer genius. Sales are good and shipped on time with none of the 10 week back order BS from other companies have heard of. Great job team at BTWR

Buy Two Way Radios (BTWR) is one of the sellers of the Wouxun product line and I own a couple of Wouxun radios, along with other items that I purchased from BTWR.

First, although I truly believe the Wouxun company has the potential of producing great radios that could compete with those made by Icom and Yaesu, quality control issues need to be resolved in order for that department to see the defects that are escaping their eyes. I also believe they need to inform the sellers of their products to welcome any defects or abnormalities, and to define this word for them using a definition that is reasonable and fair.

Second, I believe sellers need to hold Wouxun accountable for these defects or abnormalities. And, if the problem(s) is/are being caused by the radio's firmware, Wouxun needs to take this serious to please and maintain its customers. Historically, I discovered that firmware updates have not been easy for Wouxun. It's very important that this change so that software issues with their radios can be fixed easily.

Please note that I have taken steps to resolve things with BTWR, most recently by contacting its president. He is the only person, at this point, who can change things. If things become resolved, I will update this review.

***Update (3.9.23): The president of BTWR responded to my email and resolved what I wanted addressed. After corresponding with him several times in this process, I believe he is a very nice person who cares about his company. If you are unable to resolve issues through his staff, do not hesitate to contact him. Because of him alone, I moved my rating from 2 to 4. Regarding Wouxun, however,...I won't be buying another radio from them. Instead, Yaesu or Icom are what I would purchase...and, hopefully, BTWR will become an authorized distributor of Yaesu radios and expand their Icom line, too.

Note: For the "Date of experience" I used a date that approximately falls between the purchases of my radios.

The store filters (blocks) reviews on their product (Wouxun radios). I posted one-star radio as I wasn't satisfied with the product and service, but it never appeared on their page. The store specializes in selling Wouxun radio, maybe with a contract as they are the only store it sells Wouxun, which is probably a reason why they filter bad (1-star reviews) to deceive customers and make more sale. In brief research on their website, I couldn't find a one-star review that proves my point.

I have purchased like 7 radios from this company & they ALL came within 3 days, very fast service & when you call them on the phone they answer their phone & answer your questions, I purchased 3 radios from a smaller company that I can't mention the name or the owner will have a fit but I had a bad experience with that company, do yourself a favor & order from this company, I have ordered quite a few other products from this company & have nothing but positive things to say about them, I absolutely intend to continue to buy radios & equipment from this company, A+++ service !
