Disappointing

Just used Buy with Confidence for the first time, to find a bathroom installer. Had a quote done etc. and was about to go ahead, but the installer refused to provide evidence of public liability insurance (which protects the homeowner if an accident or damage occurs) prior to paying a deposit. This is not a legal requirement but is generally advised. Installer also wanted to plaster ceiling by chipping off some of the asbestos artex, which isn't safe. Disappointed with both the trader and Buy with Confidence - can't see the point of latter.
