Bybit has kept my account and funds frozen for more than 16 months with no clear justification, no resolution deadlines and no effective communication, despite my full cooperation and multiple attempts to contact. The blockade occurred in August 2024 without specific reason, only vague references to "suspicious activity." Support responses have been null or generic. This prolonged retention represents not only a direct economic harm, but also a documentable emotional and psychological damage due to uncertainty and total lack of transparency. I demand the immediate release of my account and funds, or a formal written explanation specifying the exact reason for the block, what documentation is required and a defined deadline for resolution.

I am extremely disappointed with Bybit’s lack of professionalism regarding my KYC verification. I have been a loyal user, but the platform has now suspended all my trading operations for over a month.
Initially, I was told the verification would take 48 hours. This then turned into 14 days, and I have now been waiting for more than 30 days. My funds are effectively locked, and I am suffering significant financial losses due to being unable to manage my positions or capitalize on market movements.

I completed all the required tasks (3 tasks in total) exactly as instructed. After finishing, I was told to wait 3–4 days to collect the reward. I even contacted support, and the agent confirmed that everything was fine.
On the actual reward date, I received an email claiming I had “violated the terms and conditions.” They never explained what was violated, even after asking for clarification.
I honestly should have read the reviews before using this platform. After this happened, I noticed many other users had the exact same experience—tasks completed, rewards promised and then denied with no clear reason.
This is misleading and a complete waste of time. I am leaving this platform and would strongly advise others to be cautious.

Support chat: Confirmed no violation, escalated

Back to live chat (after seeing Trustpilot responses): Again confirmed no violation, escalated again
This has been weeks of contradictory messages from your team, with zero specific details on what term was allegedly broken (no section reference, no evidence). I've never used VPNs, multi-accounts, or anything suspicious – account is clean.
Please review Case #23860118 urgently and provide:
A detailed written explanation of the exact violation (or confirmation none exists).
Immediate crediting of the rewards if eligible.
An apology for the inconsistent handling that's wasted my time.

I experienced a serious issue on Bybit P2P that exposes a critical flaw in the platform’s payment verification logic.

I selected a verified P2P merchant with over 4,000 completed trades, positive reviews, and merchant status (with a security deposit). The order was marked as “For orders that require verification”, yet there was no clear or explicit warning that fiat payment must be sent before any confirmation is possible.
I transferred $1,017, uploaded the required payment receipt (PDF) to the chat, and after that the seller canceled the order.
After opening an appeal, the Bybit interface explicitly showed that the counterparty had 0 USDT locked.
This provides no real protection for the buyer and creates the impression that no crypto exists to secure the transaction, despite the payment already being completed.
Even if the funds were supposedly held in escrow, Bybit displayed the situation in a misleading way, allowing the seller to receive fiat, cancel the order, and leave the buyer unprotected. The interface continued to show “0 USDT locked”, effectively legitimizing abusive or fraudulent behavior on P2P.
Most importantly:
The appeal did NOT resolve the issue.
Despite clear payment proof, video evidence, and full cooperation, I received no compensation at all.
Even though the seller was a verified merchant with a deposit, Bybit did not use that deposit to compensate the buyer.
Bybit later stated that the merchant had withdrawn or moved funds before the appeal, which confirms a failure of Bybit’s P2P protection and escrow system.
In its current form, Bybit fails to protect buyers, even when dealing with verified merchants, and allows P2P scams through poor design, weak enforcement, and misleading payment verification logic.
This mechanism urgently requires revision, otherwise buyers remain fully exposed.

Lacking transparency regarding rewards distribution. They tend to retract or change them at will without notifying users on why or what caused the changes. Even when they do notify users, it’s usually half-assed. They are actually good at writing the initial event announcement but the problem is that they are not as good at delivering it
Example is bybit pay, i spent some dollars worth of few days of the task, they deliver the rewards at first but the task suddenly dissapeared from the task page, so here i am questioning whether the rewards is an actual rewards or just accumulation of the fees of my transactions including the ones where i never received the rewards lol

Their bybit card is scam, they offer good rates etc but in total not give you full info where they spent your money.
I deposited 500USDT, bough item for 473.93 and they took for it 484.69, it's np. but on my account left 8$, and there was no info where money gone. I canceled order and in two weeks got money refund, now on my balance 482$

In spring 2024 Bybit has requested me to complete EDD application. The review took around 2-3 months, after which the application was rejected for reasons which were not mentioned, and it was advised to contact their support team.
I tried to contact them via Help Center, which did not function properly and I never got a response. I also wrote a letter to their compliance team directly via email and have not gotten any reply from them either.
Would not risk to continue using this platform without any chance for support in case of difficulties or issues.
