Byredo’s perfumes smell amazing! I had a great experience with just one hiccup. Because I used express check out I was unable to add my free samples, which I didn’t know of until after I paid. I quickly started a chat with customer service to see if my order could be amended and they said no. It would be nice if we had a one hour window to edit the orders.
I have been buying Byredo fragrances for a few years now and have always liked them and the service was smooth. However this Black Friday I have ordered a large discovery set and was very much looking forward to delivery of it, but it failed twice. Don't get me wrong, it did not fail because I was not at home. I received the messages that it is coming on a certain day and was waiting for it, but both times it did not come and there was no note whatsoever were did it end up. I have contacted the customer service on the first failed delivery and they were helpful and told that there was some problem, after which a second delivery note came. But that delivery never came. After which I contacted the customer service again and asked what's happening, on which I just received a reply that they will escalate matters and get back to me. Then I have not heard anything from them for about 3 days and just yesterday receive a note that my order was cancelled and I will receive my money back. But that's not what I wanted. I contacted the customer service again and the service was a bit rude indirectly blaming me for failed delivery, although I explained that I was there waiting on both days. She then suggested me to reorder, but then if I reorder I of course won't get the Black Friday special offer with it. She told that she will escalate, but there is no guarantee that I receive any special offer. I am still very disappointed and probably won't buy again from Byredo, since I do not want this to happen again with delivery and customer service that is not 100% responsive, despite this being a company with products that are on the higher end of pricing.

Sent me incorrect product. When asked to send correct product they said no would give me a coupon code for a free hand cream for next order. I said no so they told me to print myself a return label to return it and they’d inspect it to see if I would get a full refund. You sent me the wrong thing and you want to try and scam me out of money. For a million dollar corporation horrific customer service, don’t waste your time, save your money and buy from another brand.

I've had trouble getting my order from Byredo due to the incompetence of the delivery carrier. My order had gone to the wrong city. TWICE. I'd like to emphasize that this was not Byredo's fault, but, coming out of this unpleasant experience, I would like to suggest that Byredo either bring this and, I'm sure, other incidents like mine, to the attention of the carrier that made the mistake or partner up with a different delivery company altogether. I wrote to Byredo' customer support and was lucky to have a lady named Janine undertake my complain. She was not only professional, helpful and efficient in her duties, but, MOST importantly, she was very sympathetic, understanding and humane in her approach to solving the issue. She told me that she would bring the matter to the attention of an appropriate department and see to it that it gets resolved to my satisfaction. She did just that. She followed through and she followed up with me after settling the issue. Once again, above everything I appreciated her warmth and kindness, it was like dealing with a friend. My recent purchase in BYREDO was 1st of December 2025 , €290 EDP with the snow man as gift offers. And it will be my last forever !!!!
Seems to me they took me go around and got me nowhere. I keep contacting them and they give me the same USELESS response. I’m believe I among many others who have been affected by BYREDO.
When I contacted them , she said my home adress not in their system. WHAT?? !!!! DOES’NT MAKE SENSE !!! Then she asking me to provide address details of the pick up point or working place , because theirs transporters can’t reach to my home address . So I give one of pick up point address. Well… she could tell me better lies than telling me this . What a joke !
The next day I still have no answer, so I contacted them again because they won’t contact me if I don’t contact them first . PERFECT!!!!
I spoke with another agent , they going to investigate, I asked for the update and the tracking number , they don’t have any information. As soon as they have information they will send me emails asap . No they never contact me .
So on the 10 of December I contact them again , this time I asked my money back . Because I don’t want to deal with this anymore . They can’t even provide me the tracking information. Then they said my order haven’t not shipped yet . I told them I wants my full refund .
I been shopping for many years with BYREDO whether I purchased directly to the store or online. But they betrayed me, and many others costumers .
They ruined my day as my order was a Birthday gift .
Until today I still waiting my order or my money back.

Ive always liked their soaps and lotion, so I think I’d try the discovery set for perfumes. It is quite a rip-off, charged 50eur for 6 typically free test bottles. I did not find the scents or quality enough to purchase a bottle after, and instead asked to buy another product from their website. Customer service is dismissive, and starts ignoring me, very disappointing and a very bad experience.

I would highly advise anyone not to purchase from the BYREDO webshop!!! I placed an order during Black Friday, along with the complimentary gift that was clearly displayed in my basket at checkout (I even have a screenshot showing two items in my basket). Despite this, the gift was never included in my order.
After reading other reviews on Trustpilot, I can see that many customers experienced the exact same issue, where the gift appeared in the basket but was not processed in the order. This makes it hard to believe it was just an isolated glitch.
When I contacted customer service, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. Their phone line doesn’t work (no one picks up), and the overall experience felt more like dealing with a low-quality scam website than what is supposed to be a luxury perfume brand.
I’ve been a loyal BYREDO customer for many years, however always purchasing in store, and this was my first time ordering online. Unfortunately, it has left me with a very negative impression.
I genuinely don’t understand how this practice aligns with EU consumer protection rules, as customers are shown a complimentary gift during checkout that is later not honoured. At best, it feels misleading. At worst, it borders on deceptive advertising, especially because the issue clearly affects multiple customers.
I am genuinely disappointed. I expected so much more from BYREDO, but this experience makes it clear that customer care is not a priority.

The wonderful quality of the BYREDO products is really well known. Mesmerizing fragrances filled with elegance, and magic put together by geniuses in their craft.
But what happens when things go wrong? And your so awaited product gets lost in transit and your left confused and wondering what to do. You simply contact their customer service and if you’re really lucky you get Giulia as your contact, and she will do everything within her power to turn a wrong into a right .
My 5 star rating goes not only to the product that surely deserves it, but mainly to the all too rare great customer service experience to match.
Horrible customer service. Inconsistent delivery. My first order with this company was delivered to the wrong address. Then went to place another order and it has still not been delivered. No clue what is going on. No help what so ever from the company itself. Would advise against ordering from Byredo directly.

I've seen other reviews complaining about the customer service, but to be honest, the person responding to me was quick with replies, polite and informative. Customer service are only doing their job.
The real problem here are Byredo's company policies. Are people really out here scamming them out of sample-sized gift bags? Is a bag full of tiny samples really worth pissing off your paying customers?
I was refused a refund of a $180/50ml bottle of perfume, because I chose to be honest about opening the mini-perfume bottle and body lotion (neither of which were shrink-wrapped - so they really shouldn't have been asking for them to be returned in the first place, due to hygiene reasons) I never actually used any of the gift products, I only opened the bottles and sniffed them.
Funnily enough, my return was because someone else gifted me a 100ml bottle of one of the perfumes I had ordered, so I asked if an exchange of the 50ml bottle was possible, that way they'd still get to keep all of the money I had spent, which technically should qualify me for receiving this precious gift bag of samples, and I wouldn't be left with a duplicate bottle, but alas... no, exchanges are not allowed under their policy.
Well, finding a perfume brand that doesn't make me feel like an idiot for buying from them is the entirety of my policy.
i just placed an order and as soon as i did it i opened the chat to try to understand if the items could be gift wrapped separate. and this was so bad, the answer was so bad with such a little respect. i don't understand how a supposed luxury product handles things like this. i wish i could attach the print of the conversation.
This is my second Byredo order and I’m blown away by the speed of their shipping and amazing fragrances! I’m already dreaming of my next scent for my birthday this spring. This is a big splurge for me but I love Byredo so much already!
I ordered the LA GRANDE DÉCOUVERTE discovery set during Black Friday, along with the free gift that was clearly shown in my basket at checkout. When my order arrived, the free gift was missing.
When I contacted customer service, I was told: “Unfortunately, we cannot send gifts in hindsight.” Despite explaining that the gift was selected and visible in my basket, I was repeatedly dismissed and made to feel as though I was lying.
The only solution I was given was to return the entire order and reorder, which made no sense considering the gift didn’t add properly the first time. I reluctantly did this, using card details instead of Apple Pay, and this time the free gift added correctly.
I completed the online return form, but never received a return label. I was told via chat that it would be emailed - four days later, still nothing. When I followed up, I was told I “hadn’t replied” to an email (which didn’t even ask for confirmation of a return!). I had already asked for a return four times in the same chat thread AND completed an online returns form.
Every interaction with BYREDO’s customer service felt rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. At no point did anyone apologise or acknowledge the inconvenience. I was even told they would “look into the Apple Pay process,” but only after repeatedly insisting I had selected the gift.
Right now, BYREDO has £360 of my money, I have one box here waiting to be returned (still with no return label), and I am waiting for the replacement order - which may or may not include the gift this time.
I love BYREDO fragrances, but I do not love being treated like an inconvenience. This entire experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and totally unnecessary. For such a premium brand, the service I received was anything but premium. Quite frankly, it stinks! 02A113576

Very bad customer service at checkout you can select a gift i noticed that i missed selecting one so 1 min after placing it i contacted customer support very lazy not able to help in anyway she says as soon as the order is placed its packed but i cant imagine this in 1 minute happening so i wasnt able to get my blackfridah gift bag

I absolutely love this brand and all the products - parfumes, body care, make up. You feel "your special moment" in every detail - from receiving to using/wearing it.
I had a great experience with support team, specifically with Estelle, and it was absolutely great! I had promocode for complementary candle, which unfortunately got out off stock in that moment. And with Estelle help I recieved instead of it wonderful biblioteque candle , that I wanted so much! The packaging is all over the top!!! Wow! When I got it I was absolutely surprised and happy!
