We recently worked with Cad Monke, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Ben and Katie came out to our home to measure up and really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted for our extension. They were friendly, professional, and full of helpful ideas.

Throughout the entire design process, Ben kept us updated with regular progress and was incredibly patient when we wanted to make changes especially when my wife wasn’t keen on certain elements! He also identified a few potential issues early on, which saved us a huge amount of stress later. It really showed how knowledgeable and experienced he is.

Cad Monke handled all of the planning paperwork with the council, making the whole process smooth and worry free. We now have our full plans ready to go and are hoping to start the build in the new year.

We landed onto working with Ben D because we purchased a house with existing planning permission for a double storey extension, but the plans weren’t quite to our requirements for what we wanted to use the space for, so I went back to Ben to see if he could find some work arounds.

I did also enquire with other companies and CADMonke’s prices were still very competitive and came out on top.

Ben was always super responsive, using a variety of communication methods to ensure the smoothest journey and support my understanding of the requirements with regs etc.

When we couldn’t choose between layouts he even worked out the measurements for the space gained with each of 3 plans, to help us compare and decide which was best with all the information to hand.

He was incredibly knowledgeable about the processes with building control, what will and won’t pass and what not to waste our time with. This knowledge was invaluable as we were navigating a tight timescale to the build starting and plans being finalised (our fault entirely with timing/changing plans late in the day).

Ben was quick and focused on the project, checking in regularly and responsive throughout when we needed quick answers with a builder on site.

I’d have no hesitation recommending CADMonke to anyone (in fact I’ve tried a couple of times with work colleagues having work done and been saddened when they have told me they already have someone to do their plans!).

This is because I am so confident that Ben and his team would give any customer the best experience over another company.

Ben never made the project more stressful in anyway (in fact, he alleviated stress and helped resolve some potential disagreements with the builder along the way).

The team are friendly, they listen to you, and work to ensure your project meets your needs with your end desires at the heart of the work.

I’ve had the chance to work with CAD Monke (Ben Driver), and I’ve got to say — they’re amazing at what they do. Their draughting work is always super accurate, detailed, and clean. You can tell they really care about getting things right, and it shows in every drawing they produce.

They’re also just great to work with, reliable, easy to talk to and always willing to lend a hand when something needs fixing or improving. No matter how busy things get.

Shocking. Just shocking. I may as well have got my own tape measure out. Please avoid this company. Ben is not a certified architect, and simply draws pictures. We had to instruct a new architect after Ben's woeful work at additional cost obviously.

I appreciated how they seamlessly integrated my vision with their technical expertise, making sure the design was not only beautiful but also met all the necessary building regulations and guidelines. The plans were professional, clear, and well-thought-out—every corner and detail was accounted for, which gave me a lot of confidence moving forward.

From start to finish CADMONKE provided a great level of service and were always available to answer my questions at no extra cost.
We had to make some ammendments to our planning drawings due to budgets I spoke to Ben and he reassured me this would be something he would still help with. Great doing business with you !
