this company is not to be trusted

this company is not to be trusted. constantly lie about payment of tools we sold to them. 5 months later we are still waiting with various excuses from their Vice President J.P Santos about when payment will be made. excuses range from payment run missed or an issue with files. We will never work with these people again once the deal is finally complete. Make sure you read the T&C's before committing.

Never deal with this people!

I had the same experience as other users before me: I paid, and after more than six months, nothing has happened! Apparently, the machine is at a customer's location and safety training needs to be conducted first… blah blah blah… Later, they offered us packaging that we were supposed to pay for, even though we had previously stated that we would arrange for our own shipping company to pick it up!

Not trustworthy.

DO NOT TRUST.

Are we scammed? Probably.
We paid in full 4 months ago. Excuse after excuse has been given and now they say the system no longer exist. No refund so far.

We did a thurough check. History seemed fine. Bank and accounts seemed fine. Several phone calls and emails. Linkedin page with many followers and employees with active accounts. We recived a lot of documentation of equipment, videos and extra pictures on details when we asked questions. Still waiting and it seems to be a scam :(

If it turns out to be solved I will update this review.

Scam

We've been waiting for our machine for over 6 months. We are another data point in this trend of customers complaining that CAE will take your $$$$ and then make nothing but excuses and refuse to cancel your order.

Outstanding $8k prepayment, 8 Months later No Delivery

Outstanding $8k prepayment – 8 months and no delivery
We are extremely disappointed with the lack of service and transparency from CAE. We provided a full prepayment for equipment 8 months ago, yet we have still not received our order. Both John Sgro and Gergely have provided multiple shipping dates that have consistently been missed. Communication has now ceased, and our calls and emails are being ignored. We have been patient, but after nearly a year, this is unacceptable. We advise others to exercise extreme caution before sending prepayments to this company.
3/3/26 Update - CAE did finally deliver the item, 8.5 months after payment.

DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!
We purchased an SCL machine from CAE back in January 2024 and sent the payment via Wire transfer i. After several weeks of delays in providing crating and shipping details, they came back to us saying they can't deliver this machine anymore and that they will return back our funds. This was back in April 2024 and until now nothing was received despite many promises of returning our money We complained over 50 times after delay in delivering the goods and each week they would say it was a matter of days that they would return them by wire transfer. Many promises were made to return the funds which never happened. It’s been 2 years and no actual refund was received!

Purchased a very expensive 3500xl , Promises Made, Not Kept — Months of Delays and No Accountability

We had an extremely negative experience working with CAE Online.

They received $26,500 from me for a Thermo 3500xl and then began making excuse after excuse as to why the instrument was not shipping. Over the course of three months, they changed the location of the machine, changed the serial number, and repeatedly failed to provide photos of my actual unit.

I was repeatedly told that the machine was located in a secured facility that required extensive documentation, permissions, and signatures to enter. These explanations were used to justify long delays and lack of transparency. After months of this, I was finally told the truth: the 3500xl was actually located in Malaysia, inside someone’s private residence.

Because it was in a residential building, we were forced to pay an additional $300 just to remove it—something that was never disclosed upfront.

They also charged me $500 for crating, then claimed they needed additional packing materials and that this would delay shipment by another two weeks. At that point, I canceled the crating and requested a refund. They agreed in writing and said the refund was “processing.” After a week, I was told they only process payments mid-month.

It is now December 22, and the $500 has still not been returned. At this point, they have stopped responding altogether.

The owner, Ryan, repeatedly disappears and excuses the lack of communication by saying he is “busy with hundreds of orders and thousands of emails.” That is not an acceptable explanation for taking tens of thousands of dollars and then failing to communicate or follow through.

This experience involved misrepresentation, constant delays, changing stories, and unresolved refunds. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying far away. Do not purchase equipment from this company unless you are prepared for significant risk, stress, and financial exposure.
