A must-try experience.

I entertained visiting family in Cardiff yesterday and decided we would give CaffiCymru a try. The room was light, spacious, and had a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The welcome from Mark and the staff was genuinely friendly and set the tone for the visit.

There were 10 of us in total, and every single meal arrived piping hot. All plates were returned completely clean, which says everything you need to know — everyone thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

I wholeheartedly recommend the steak and ale pie with the Brains Dark gravy; it was absolutely outstanding. CaffiCymru is a hidden gem, tucked away upstairs in the #Famous City Arms, and an absolute must‑try for anyone visiting. I’d recommend booking, as its popularity is surely only going to grow.
