Tom at Cal Loans Direct was the best! When you find someone good you know it. I was so impressed with Tom and his team. Not only did i get the lowest rate i could find after speaking with multiple companies i also received the best service! Thank you Tom!

Tom is the best in this business. I did an extensive search for a lender/lender broker that satisfies several criteria:
1. Best rate: who doesnt want the best interest rate. I talked to 6 lenders at a time and everytime I came back to check for an updated rate. He offered me the best rate.
2. Responsive: Tom is available Mon-Sun (anytime). I literally anytime, I had called him 8-9PM and 7-8AM before and he never refused my calls.
3. Quick closing time: I gave Tom an impossible task - closing in 14 days. I wanted my offer to be the best in every way on a hot market, so I checked with Tom whether a 14-day closing period was possible and he delivered. We closed in exactly 14 days.
4. Knowledgeable about the buying process: Tom answered every question that I had anytime and he was super patient about it all.

I called Mike out of the blue one evening, after shopping intensely for the best interest rate we could comfortably afford for a SFH purchase. He was very receptive to helping me, and he listened to what we were looking for. My main issue with speaking to other lenders/loan officers was the BS they would insert into the conversation as to why I should go with them - basically the long used car salesman pitch. I appreciate Tom’s professionalism. I got quotes from 5 other places, and while other deals were very close in loan terms, the other companies called my phone constantly, leaving many hard-sell voicemails. It was extremely annoying for a busy person like me. Tom by contrast, respected my time and contacted me only when something was pertinent.
