Absolutely fantastic
Absolutely fantastic. I've been trying to exercise off and on for a few years but no luck. Between the lack of structure, being unsure on propert dietary needs, and having nobody to bounce ideas off of as to what to expect, it was difficult to find the drive to better myself. I signed up for the premium plan, and while a bit expensive, it made a world of difference. I'm in better shape, my diet has improved dramatically, my sleep has gotten better, and my endurance has skyrocketed. I went from being a scrawny kid unable to do even 10 pushups, to doing 90 with an additional 24lbs on top of my bodyweight. I highly recommend caliber.

Julie was encouraging and checked in with me multiple times per week. She helped me find the most beneficial workouts for my needs (joint stability and strengthening). Julie gave great advice for diet and walked me through where to start and switching my focus when needed. Having a coach helped me stay motivated and determined to finish workouts, as well as helped me modify my workouts when needed.
Great weight training programs
Great weight training programs. I moved to another city and was looking for a new gym. I found out about Caliber with its online training, using videos and online coaching. The training is smart and easy to follow. Matt, the trainer, makes great points and has adjusted the training to fit my needs. I could not be happier.

Caliber brought structure and progression measurements into my training. I used to train without a structured program with advice from gym bros and ground me into overtraining and fatigue without any improvement to show for it.
I recommend everyone to hire a personal trainer. A trained professional will help you achieve your goals and will keep you healthy through personalized programs and nutrition.
Caliber pairs the personal training with tools for measuring progress and keeps you accountable. You’ll still have show up and put the work in but if you do you’ll have the tools and expertise to reach your goals.
The best platform I have ever used
I’ve used several workout apps in the past. I decided to see what else was out there and came across Caliber. At first I just used the free app which had a great interface for creating and tracking workouts including videos showing proper form for each exercise.
I decided to try out some advanced features and then ended up getting 12 weeks of coaching to have someone validate and enhance the routines I had been putting together. My coach, Brandon, is awesome and he has tailored a program for my daily needs, with warm up weight %s and reps based on where I am in the weight for those exercises and it changes as I increase my strength. He also set up travel workouts based upon what equipment was available at each travel location. In addition I started using the app he recommended that syncs with Caliber to track my nutrition and that has made a huge difference in how I approach getting my protein and macros each day.
I really like the feature that updates strength scores to see my progress, and the body chart that shows my strength balance across muscle groups is really useful. I can see with a graphic of all my muscles, if I am getting out of balance between chest and back strength for example.
The coaching has been very valuable and the app itself is the best I’ve used. I have used other popular subscription based apps and this is the one I am sticking with. I also like the easy way I can video tape myself doing a set and send it to my coach for him to evaluate my form.
My coach has me feeling like I can move forward now on my own, and I know if I ever feel like some more education or validation, they are ready for me to touch base again.
Now that my coaching period has ended I was happy to find out that the automatic warmup sets tool is available to me so I can just flip a switch on sets I would like to warm up on, and the app calculates the warm up weights and reps for me. Definitely the best app even when not using coaching.

As a former Army Special Operations member, I've maintained a consistent training program for the past 15 years. As I’ve gotten older, diet has become increasingly important in driving progress. Tanner has been an outstanding coach—his ability to distill complex training and nutrition concepts into actionable insights has been invaluable. He cuts through the noise of fad diets and programs, providing clear, effective guidance. Under his coaching, I’ve improved both strength and physique while deepening my understanding of diet and programming. Tanner doesn’t hold back—he’s genuinely invested in his clients’ success, even if it means teaching himself out of a job. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend Caliber and working with Josiah <3
I'm not someone capable of picking up hundreds of pounds and never have been. With a hectic work schedule, my goals when I started working with my trainer, Josiah, in January were to create a consistent schedule at the gym, build strength and do something for myself that helped me to feel good in my skin. I was at first a little intimidated by the idea of working with a trainer and honestly had no idea what to expect. I have had such a great experience working with Josiah and am continuing to work with him for another three-month period. He knows what he is doing - he's an expert who has offered a lot of helpful insight. I can feel myself getting stronger and I'm learning a ton. Equally important: he's a very kind human being who is very easy to talk to, meets me where I am and makes a fuss about celebrating my accomplishments.
Coaching for fitness and longevity for those over 50
When I chose to enage with Caliber, I was not looking for a trainer, but was looking for a coach. My goal was to find a coach who could provide me good advice on how I should be working out given my stage of life (58), more for longevity rather than trying to gain loads of muscle mass. I also needed someone who could help me understand how much I should be eating, given my age, to loose excess weight while trying to maintain muscle mass. I was connected with Joe Courtin, who understood my need and created an excellent plan for me. Joe helped me lose weight and gain strength, all while working around a bum knee and major tendonitis in my elbow. Joe did a great job in coming up with some alternative workouts during my travel, all of which kept me on track. I'm two months in now and about 10 pounds down on the scale, and my strength continues to increase each week. I'm not a young
buck any more and I found that adjustments in my workout and diet were necessary for longevity, as well as staying fit. Joe understood this and created a strategy that actually worked. I learned a lot along the way about tracking macros and ensuring progressive overload each workout. These principles have been the keystones to my progress. I'm appreciative of Joe's coaching and the Caliber overall experience. I would abolutely challenge those considering Caliber to "go for it". It will be tough but well worth the investment in yourself.

Results!
Taryn, my Caliber trainer, and I started working together in early 2025 and within 4-6 weeks, I was down a size! I’ve never experienced results like this before - even though I’ve tried different plans/personal trainers throughout the years.
Taryn and I met to discuss my goals and where I was starting from before my plan was set up in the Caliber app (gives exercise demos and explanations). Taryn has provided on-going nutritional coaching, realistic workout plans based on my abilities, and has served as my personal cheerleader. She is very responsive to my messages - almost immediate responses.
I will say the cost seemed a little high, but I was on the way to spending much more for a wardrobe in a larger size.
I’m so glad I found Caliber and that I was paired with the best coach for me! If you want to look AND feel better, give Caliber a try.

Excellent communication and support from my coach. Taylor takes notes while we talk about my progress or lack of and does such a good job listening and following up on issues or concerns I have. She has made me two workout tracks I can do whether I am at home with access to a gym or traveling in our RV and have to work out without access to the gym. Very thankful for her help on my journey of refocusing and reaching my goals.

I am about 2 months into my Caliber plan with a trainer and I can't complement it enough. My Trainer Joe works with me to establish a plan I can achieve and follow and make consistent progress, he is happy to help and advise on any question I have even with general recommendation on supplement and food options.
I was hesitant going into this as it was very pricey for my budget but I don't regret it, I have seen consistent improvements in my strength and well being since starting this.
I found the app first and gave it a once over, and it's user friendly and I even looked at the premium version, shortly after I booked a consultation and that changed everything for me. Once starting with Joe I was pleasantly surprised by the care and interest, I've always been a somewhat shut in with a sedentary daily routine but Joe has helped me become more active and set realistic goals. If it wasn't for Joe taking the time to plan my workouts and advise me on nutrition then I don't think I would have got far. The app and services is great but the Trainers like Joe are what make Caliber something to recommend.
I would strongly recommended Caliber to anyone looking for an online coaching plan though my only caution would be to access your budget first.

Mid-40s man getting into weight…
Mid-40s man getting into weight training for the first time. This ended up being the perfect balance between uber expensive in-person training and going it alone. My coach set me up with a nutrition plan as well as a progressive workout routine with various phases, and I’ve steadily made progress in my strength and appearance since I started. Not sure how much longer I’ll need the coaching but it’s low-pressure with lots of options for degree of engagement, so I’m not worried about it. This works great for me.
Stronger with Caliber
This is my second time with Caliber and there is a reason I’m back. Using Caliber is a great way to reset your health. Their app, their trainers, the way they set the workouts up for you (incorporating your desires and limitations), their encouragement, knowledge and positivity - they really have it ALL! It is easy to see results with their approach. I have gotten so much stronger in about 6 weeks, which was my primary goal. Taryn is extremely responsive to my questions and cheerleads me all the way. The app holds your data so you can see your progress. Just can’t give it enough of a positive rating! What a great decision for my health and fitness!

Before this, I was stuck in a cycle of calorie counting, strict Keto dieting, and grueling six-day-a-week workouts. I hit a plateau and was not improving. Matt came in with a completely new approach. He designed a workout plan with exercises I’d never tried, tweaked my rest intervals between sets, and threw in extra core work to spice things up. The biggest shock?
