First off, let me say I actually love this product. I think it tastes great and it's the only vegan protein powder that my body really hasn't had any adverse effects from. Ideally, I could get this product on a reliable basis for my workout schedule.

But the reason I'm leaving a 3-star review is that their shipping process is an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

Their standard shipping window says 3 to 7 days, but I have never once received a shipment from them in under 15 days.

On top of that, for the Chicago area at least, they use UPS Mail Innovations for delivery; meaning UPS delivers the package to a USPS regional facility that then proceeds to either:
A.) Have the package sit at their facility for ~5 days minimum or
B.) Lose the package entirely to the point where neither UPS nor USPS can locate the package and both refuse to help. The latter has happened to me with 2 different orders now.

The insult to injury here is California Performance charges $5 for this. Their support is also only reachable via email.

All in all, amazing product; but good luck getting it with any regular schedule or consistency, even on a subscription.

This is my favorite flavor. It came on time and I’m always excited to use it.

I love this protein powder. Tastes great. Dissolves easily. It was delivered quickly.

I purchased the vegan whey protein powder nearly 3 weeks ago and it has not arrived.

I recently bought two shakers and the toxic lining that was added to coat the inside of the shaker is getting scratched off by the metal whisk ball inside.

Loving the California Performance protein. Very tasty and doesn’t hurt my stomach. Hoping vanilla will be back in stock soon- only got a sample of that but it was my favorite

Chocolate and vanilla flavors are okay, but I made the mistake of staring with strawberry, and it ruined my taste for the products. I mixed it with water, and it did not blend well- it was a foamy any watery sour mess. Had the look and mouth feel of dish soap.

Order shipped out quickly and communication was great. I ordered the metal shaker bottle. It is surprisingly lightweight because it is a thin metal (which I don’t mind) but makes the rattling a bit louder. I gave this items four because the top is almost entirely plastic. This is disappointing because I am trying to steer clear of plastic for a lot of reasons, one being the taste they seem to absorb over time.

Can you also make a plain protein? Love that your protiens are so environmentally friendly!

Taste and texture are good. Feels like high quality protein. I feel pretty good after using it.

I have gotten all three flavors, and the vanilla is my favorite. The protein powder is high quality and once blended or stirred dissolves without a grainy texture. Shipping is fast. I would love an unflavored version and lower price but other than that I like it.

I lead a pescatarian diet and eat a tiny bit of cheese on occasion, so dairy isn't a big thing for me. I had been using this product sporadically throughout the Fall of 2022. I placed a new order and had a horrible reaction. Diarrhea for 4 days, fever and kidney and bladder pain. My doctor put me on a course of Cipro. At first I thought is was something else I ate. Then I tried California Performance again and within 30-45 minutes I was in the bathroom, going constantly for 18 hours. I am now sitting here again with a fever and kidney pain. I sent an email to the company over the weekend and am waiting for a response. Just wanted buyers to be aware. I will never place something unnatural in my body again.

I have tried all three flavours and I think berry and chocolate are the best. I really like the chocolate, but for reasons I can’t figure out, it gives me a terrible stomach ache every time. When I make the same exact protein shake and sub in a different protein powder, I feel fine. I never had problems with dairy prior to going vegan so I’m not sure what the problem is. It’s a bummer because otherwise I really like this.

Edit: They did eventually reach out to me multiple weeks later and are sending the product to my correct address. I've increased the rating from 1 to 3 stars.

My phone auto-entered the address when I selected a payment type and it was my old address in another state. I contacted the company immediately and a total of 4 times over the next week and never even got a reply. I hope someone in North Carolina is enjoying their product.

Best vegan protein powder I’ve ever tasted! All three flavors are great, but chocolate is my favorite. My only criticism is why single serve packets? This creates so much waste, and is counterintuitive for a company that is promoting its environmental consciousness. Instead of 15 single serve packets inside of a large bag, this could easily be packaged in a single large bag with a scoop!

I've tried a ton of different plant-based protein powders and they're all either terrible, full of sucralose, or a low amount of protein per serving. I love that I can get whey now without the guilt that comes with animal products. Plus it tastes good mixed with just water. 🙂
