This is my 5th time staying with wendy and vicky and all have been really good this time we stayed in M697 it is a lovely caravan in a great location our van was ready really early unfortunately we didnt arrive till later but it was nice to be told ,when we arrived it was spotless our week was lovely and we highly recommend staying with them thankyou wendy and vicky can't wait for our next visit

Vicky & Wendy, you surpassed yourselves. This was very clean. Fully equipped, you thought of everything. Nice spacious, and WOW the shower was the best we've ever had .Plenty of space to turn around and bend down,. We have stayed in over 40 caravans, this was the best shower / toilet room ever.. Stayed here in sept 2024 such a beautiful van with a nice large decking and parking space, gas central heating and all the mod cons. The caravan was nice and modern and very clean and tidy, over all our experience was 10/10

Did not use entertainment so can not comment on that , lovely area and nice places to visit beautiful beach too will definitely rebook
Great Weekend Away
I recently stayed in SBL1 and had a great weekend away. The caravan was lovely and very clean we couldn't have asked for a better caravan. Booking was really easy and Wendy was very helpful helping us choose a caravan that would be suitable for us as we needed a pet free due to allergies. Thank you so much we have already rebooked for next year.

Atrocious
Atrocious management. Do not book through this company. Caravans are not clean and communication is poor. I managed to contact one of the owners of a caravan that Wendy and team manage and they had no idea how badly their property was being managed. It's funny how they keep saying every bad review is a fake too. Why would people write bad reviews for no reason? They are cowboys. Stay away.

I have been using Camber Sandy Shores for the past 6 years, we recently stayed in SP100 and I can confidently say that Wendy and Vicki go above and beyond to meet our needs. With a son who has a disability, it's crucial for us to have a caravan within walking distance of the amenities. Wendy has always ensured that we have the best caravan/chalet at the best possible price, accommodating our preference for more luxurious options with features like a veranda and a dishwasher. The properties are always cleaned to a high standard, which adds to our comfort during our stay. I highly recommend booking with Camber Sandy Shores!

While I did not book a caravan through this company. Owner, Wendy did manage a caravan I booked through air BnB. I understand she will deny and accuse of being fake review as she has with other negative reviews, but the service we received was truly diabolical.
I was staying alone with my kids when there was a problem with the state of the caravan (owner fault) sever mould, feces on the mattress and generally filth. Not just an untidy caravan but a health hazard. Wendy took on the management but then blocked my number on day one so I couldn't contact her to sort it out. My kids got sick so took them home and Wendy declined the refund stating that mould is expected as "it's been humid".
We have all screenshots of the truly unreasonable, unprofessional and immature communication provided by Wendy. Copy and pasting the same message over and over without answering our questions.
Yes the caravan should not have been rented out and was not Wendy's caravan. Owner has apologised profusely and a mistake was made. The biggest issue is how this was dealt with. It should have been a simple "this is not acceptable, here is the refund" but instead rejected the refund and then kept passing the blame all for her financial gain. Absolutely no integrity.

This is my 2nd staying ,I would not trust reviews on here if I am honest I went via Airbnb reviews and they are brilliant if this company was that bad why do they have superhost status, on Airbnb , sounds like reading reviews on here is petty people wanting something for nothing and been refused so they want to write fake reviews. Advise please read Airbnb reviews because they are on there .

Have used this company several times as is cheaper than booking through park dean. Sadly each year gets worse and worse, awful, rude and argumentative customer service, caravans changed or not up to standard paid for. Last one had an absolutely awful smell of fish in the bedroom- putrid and other filthy and covered in pet hair so much so that you only had to sit down or walk on carpet and you were covered. Avoid and pay the extra by paying the extra through park dean!

Avoid at all costs... A very disappointing experience for a couple and 2 children + a mum with one child. We booked caravan 150ww for a 5-day May half-term 2023 stay. We received a video of the caravan. It was our first caravan experience and we found very frustrating that the property did not list what was included or not. So we had a lot of backwards and forwards with questions before our arrival. Though initially, the host was responsive.
The general condition of the caravan was good, but there were things that were damaged. One of the reasons why we choose this caravan was the large TV, as we wanted to do movie nights, which is something we do not do at home, as we have a no TV policy. We were really looking forward to enjoy with the kids and popcorn.
On arrival the kids were so excited to see the massive TV, lots of videos and a video console. They had already decided which ones to watch before we even unpacked. We were also looking forward to watch some TV in bed in the double room.
However, when the evening arrived and we set ourselves for the movie night... The TV was unusable. It had massive crack in the top right corner where the menu was displayed. So nothing could be worked out. In addition, the rest of the TV had lines, so we could not even watch standard TV. The master bedroom TV did not work either. So there we were every evening, in our holidays, without any home entertainment in bad weather. The kids were really upset and disappointed.
We communicated the TV issues to Wendy. She did not seem at all surprised, which led us to believe that she was well aware of these faults. We felt we had been mislead. Should we have known that the TVs weren't working, we would have not booked this caravan. We did ask for a TV replacement but we were told that was not possible. She also refused to give us a discount on the price of our stay.
By the way, the video console was also broken. Why would you have a broken console on display on a holiday family home?
The last day, we had to vacate the property at 10. We were not leaving Camber Sands until the evening. We kindly asked if we could stay a bit longer, so we could have our lunch in the caravan. Wendy did not want to accommodate, in spite of the TV greatly spoiling our stay, not even as an act of goodwill. We went a couple of times during the day around the property and it was vacated. So it was not like if someone was immediately moving in after we left. By the way, when we came back to check, the caravan had been cleaned, but our rubbish bags had been left outside and not collected. They were all ripped apart and there was rubbish scattered everywhere, which we kindly collected, although we had already left and took the rubbish ourselves to the rubbish collectors.
After we left, our friend had left a fire stick (which we could never use due to the TV). We contacted Wendy, as our friend was due in 2 weeks and she could collect it then. Wendy said nothing had been left behind. We insisted but she did no longer bother to reply. However, 2 weeks later our friend who had booked another (much cheaper and nicer) caravan with another party, went back to the caravan. The kind new occupiers let her have a look around and she found the fire stick next to the TV.
So overall, we felt cheated on booking this caravan. Sending a video to show the caravan including a massive TV in the living room and another in the master bedroom, when they don't work, and mentioning to disclose it, it is misleading marketing. And if customers complain and the owner does not sort out the issue, offer a discount or offer a benefit like staying a couple of extra hours to compensate... that's a complete lack of empathy and customer service. Also the owners should have helped retrieve the item left behind.
I will also add that we had to pay separate for all the entertainment passes, while these were included in the cheaper booking our friend had made with a different caravan provider 2 weeks later. So my advice, avoid at all costs.
Be careful and check everything!!
Absolutely fantastic time in a caravan at Camber Sands over Christmas with my husband and son.
Unfortunately, £100 retainer kept by the company accusing us of damage to an aerial. The TV was left in a perfectly working order as we watched Boss Baby 🤭.
We have since found out, by their own admission, that no checks were carried out by this company before we arrived. So, I suggest that you are wary of this company, and others who may practice this underhanded method to which we have no way of receiving our £100 back .
Check out the photos as well of the issues we highlighted to them when we arrived, as well as only 2 working knobs on a gas cooker that would not switch off!! and I mended the blind 🤣
Sorry about this long post, but if we had caused damage we would have owned up to it, like the dish that flew off the drainer!!
Personally, I am sickened that someone would accuse us, more so because they hadn't inspected before the rental. Maybe I'm just too naïve 😢
Not happy
In the summer we booked through this company and we couldn't be happier with our stay, location and accommodation, so much that we booked for this year.
We booked last minute for this half term and was told it is in walking distance from amenities for my disabled mum but it wasn't.
When we arrived in the caravan it was filthy. The skirting was hanging off in the kitchen, the blind fell off the runner in the toilet on me, the cooker wasn't working and I was told there's nothing wrong with it but when the gas engineer came round there was something wrong with it. My son had ants in his bed, the table was falling apart so much my kids cut their hands on it. I contacted Wendy who wasn't very helpful and quite rude but I had no other number to contact her on and she then blocked me. When running a business you DO NOT block your guests. So unprofessional.
I tried to find another accommodation as this is not what I paid for and was told you get what you pay for in not so many words. My understanding is when you pay a damage deposit you use that after other guests leave that have damaged the property for repairs. Clearly it just goes in their pockets and does not go towards repairs otherwise things would not Have been falling apart. I get the caravan was older but still no excuse for things falling off and damaged. Needless to say there were some other caravan owners that heard my complaints and said they would not touch this company! Enough said!

UK .We booked our first Caravan / Mobile home holliday with this Private Rental Company , On every part of our booking from start to finish was first class , when we arrived on the site which was very clean in all aspects , our mobile home was superb with outside decking around two sides with table and outside chairs , it was a lovely 8 birth with on suite in the main bedroom and two other bedrooms with single beds plus a good fold away bed in the main lounge .the mobile home was ultra clean with everything that you could ask for ,very well fitted out ,with a large lounge , we all had a great holliday . we arrived on June 18th until 25 th 2021. Iwould recommend this Private holiday rental to anyone 1st Class.

Had a lovely stay in one of the caravans at camber everything that was needed was there and the girls are really helpful if you need anything sorted out we went with myself and partner and two sons daughter and grandsons there was seven of us and we had plenty of room
The site itself was lovely mon to fri bit to busy for me at weekend
The restaurant can be a bit hot and miss but staff are helpful although I did cook in the caravan a fair bit
