They're great. Right up until you need replacement parts. Purchased about 2/3 years ago. Had bolts come loose and fall off during transit. Lost one of the side rails on my baracuda kayak. Messaged asking about buying spare parts and was told someone would get back to me. That was a year ago. No one got back to me. I chased it up several times and got nowhere. Great kayak. Poor aftersales.

Great kayaks at a good price customer service was brilliant not only did they help me load the kayaks they pointed out an issue with the wheels i had purchased and recommended a cheaper product sorting out the refund and alternative wheels there and then

I wanted to order a kayak but had little time before the wife and I were going away.
These guys did all they could to get it to us on time, and they did just that.
So it was out of the box and onto the car.
We had an amazing time away paddling and fishing on a scotish sea loch.
The kayak was steady and although iv done it before be it many years ago, my wife hadn't but after the first day she settled right into it.
Now this bit is where i personaly rate a company.
Nothing ever goes perfectly and things happen that carnt be helped.
Im not going to go into detail, but we had a slight issue.
I contacted Cambridge Kayaks explaining what had happened and they offered various choices to rectify it and resolved the issue immediately.
No quibbling or arguments just straight forward good customer service.
If or when I need to buy again Cambridge kayaks will be my first stop.
Highly recommend.

Really helpful guy at the warehouse - brought out a few different models so I could try - offered advice & even loaded up for me! Since been out a few times on the Neptune & it’s been great, very stable & easy to paddle - great price too

Offered useful advice and kindly fitted roof rack attachment for us. Richard was very helpful - and the Neptune kayak is great.

I would highly recommend Cambridge Kayaks.

Sent a sample kayak with paddle rattling and was not even the colour of kayak I ordered. Clearly this was a big fault of theirs. They charged me postage for this. I had notified them and was waiting for this to be picked up. I ordered a different kayak while waiting. They charged me postage for that kayak and when it was delivered they picked up the wrong kayak the same time. Twice I paid for postage and have not refunded it, I sent emails regarding my refund of postage and kayak, no reply's, today notified by Paypal refund of kayak only that was not the kayak I ordered. Ripped off sending wrong colour and rattling parts and a sample, now ripped off postage. I was told put duck tape on the paddle and take the kayak out on the weekend. New to kayaking with disability I did not take their advice. Very unpleasant experience and ripped off. Still owe me money. I should not be paying for their mistakes. Very unhappy with the degusting way I have been treated. All call recorded.

The customer service is great, I had quite a few questions about the kayak I purchased, all of them got answered quickly and I got all the info I needed. Great company I highly reccomend. Delievery is very quick considering the size of the kayaks.

Bought neptune kayak. Absolutely amazing piece of kit.
Well made, easy to use and steer and unless your an idiot will not capsize. We went on a uk river with reeds, shallow water, rapids all taken with ease.

Excellent quality kayak at a great price.

Recently bought a Kayak, prior to buying asked a question via their chat, this was answered promptly and with the relevant information.

I ordered my Kayak and other items on the Thursday and this was delivered by the Monday.

Fantastic quick service with no issues whatsoever and fast delivery.

I ordered an additional piece of equipment on the Tuesday and this arrived within 24hrs

My wife bought me a Sunfish kayak fo christms, used firt time at easter when one of the support straps for the seat back pulled from its anchor point. The kayak is very ponderous, not easy to stear, will not go straight and is very prone to overturning. Not stable. The plastic body of the craft feels thin and flimsy.
In April, upon returning from our kayaking trip, I contacted Cambridge kayaks to report the seat problem. They requested a photo and said they would sort the problem. i promptly supplied photo and never heard from them again.
Quality of seat is mymajor issue here, after only one half hour use, the seat broke and the supplier is not responding to fix this issue.
