Work too longer than planned but was generally to a good standard, included in the work was a base for a new greenhouse which was meant to get a final skim to leave a smooth surface but that was missed.
Really good design tool showing what the finished job will look like.
Overall very happy with our garden.

Great service and prompt completion of works. There was a slight misunderstanding with what needed done, and after pointing it out they sent their guys out first thing the next morning to rectify. Would recommend and will use again.

Excellent service from stet to finish, very knowledgeable and friendly team happy to discuss anything with us as they worked. Would highly recommend.

I hoped the review would be positive however, I am afraid I hope other people avoid this company.

From the start very professional and fast to respond. After deposit and material instalment paid, started to go downhill. Our quotation was on August 2020, just completed October 2022 in what they say is a "completed" garden project(pics attached). Which clearly lacked the professional finish they advertise and say when you get the initial quotation

Many delays and false promises, office staff rude and inexperienced in speaking to customer. No empathy or care for customer. Delays in getting back to customer unless it's about paying an invoice. Which they respond very quickly.

Contacted the company about issues that I was concerned about and highlighted. However, it was completely ignored in the email and just responded asking when is the invoice going to be paid and saying the garden in complete and no further action required.

Despite saying to me they will hire a company the jet wash the garden and driveway as they left a mess, even in my neighbours drive. Which Marc spoke to my neighbour and assured once it's all complete he will have the driveway all cleaned. Now I have to spend money to get the garden repairs and cleaned.
*Damaged garden gate with machinery, said "will be fixed"
*Sleepers not finished off. Gaps and unaligned. Again "will be fixed"
*Different sized gaps all over the patio slabs.

They suggested to install a drainage pipe, before they will carry on the work as they didn't want to affect the work and reputation. This lead to costing another £600 before they will continue work. Drainage pipe they installed wasn't put into the ground deep enough therefore visible on top of the grass. Again, said will be fixed and then Suzanne the office staff, denied they installed it and said the cleaned it up out of courtesy. Which they basically just threw soil on top.

They left 1 tonne of material lying in the garden for months and rubbish at the back of the driveaway since the start in January 2021 when they came out, which they said again. They hire contractors to remove. Eventually removed themselves last week.

All in all, the intension of this review is to let others know what to expect and not go through what we have been through over the past 2 years.

Marc, Jordan and Adam where brilliant. Marc came to door and walked through what we wanted to make sure he knew what was to happen. The trio dealt with difficult neighbours superbly. 100 out of 100 for fence and clearing everything away. Thanks for the add ons as well. Can't understand other reviews as these guys are the best and would have them back in a heart beat for anymore work. Highly recommended 👌

After failed attempts to get Cambus Fencing LTD who have now Changed their name to BESPOKE LANDSCAPE DESIGN to rectify the mistakes/issues and faults ,I pursued a CIVIL LAW CASE against them at Airdrie Sheriff Court and ……WON !!!
From all evidence/pictures submitted ,and a failed mediation attempt, that ended in the line from Marc “I will see you in court Andrew” Well they did , and the Sheriff ruled in MY favour and awarded me compensation and costs.
However the drama does not end as Cambus Fencing LTD are now NOT co-operating with the courts to pay said compensation, and costs or respond to emails.
EMPLOY AT OWN RISK OF A 2 YEAR BATTLE AND A GARDEN THAT IS STILL UN-USABLE
This review is an open and honest review as is the review I have left on Google reviews and i have also included pictures to show the extent of the workmanship and details the true extent and backs up my honest review.
I have had nothing but bother with Marc and his team over the months to say the least,they constantly try and fob you off never turn up when they say they will and as others have said make try and fob you off with excuse after excuse.
The main points are
The attempted to sell my old slabs in their Facebook page without my consent (which I have proof)
They have left their own reviews on sites which I believe is a big no no !!!
My garden floods due to Cambus fencing slopping the patio the OPPOSITE way to DRAIN, the Garden floods now floods when it rains.
Surely a professional company would know to instal adequate drainage???
Discolouration of patio slabs ,patio slabs lifting and completely coming away.
Using patio slabs as coping stones which are again all coming away used wrong product for coping and pointing.
Rendered wall not filled in and cracks appearing in several areas.
Garden lights leaking due to not being sealed and letting in water which have blown twice and also blow my house lights when attempting to switch the lights on.They stated that the back of the garden lights had been sealed and made water tight however their electrician even confirmed that the back of the garden lights hadn’t been sealed or made water tight hence why lights are blown and retaining water which is not safe.
Spacing between patio slabs far to wide which is causing grouting to come away and rot and allowing slabs to lift.
Step going from bottom area to middle area doesn’t have any support and does not confirm to building standards as confirmed by another landscaping company.
Middle area slabs moving uneven and correct installation procedure not used.
I have attempted for months to get this resolved but to no avail they promise to attend but give excuse after excuse and try and attempt to wear you down.
I have been accused of defacing my garden by force by their office manager Suzanne.
They have sent me an email saying they were doing me for Deformation of character,and compiled a legal case against me all because I left a truthful review but then made me a final and formal offer ,,I gave this company plenty of times to fix and rectify the issues and they chose not to ,I stated a LEGAL CASE against them through the SMALL CLAIMS COURT and I WON my case against this company. I was awarded compensation and costs by the judge and YET Cambus Fencing have decided to IGNORE the judges ruling and
Not a great advert when a customer has taken them to COURT and WON just shows how BAD THEIR ATTITUDE and WORKMANSHIP IS.
I WOULD NOT recommend this company at all their lack of professionalism, workmanship, conduct and attitude leaves much to be desired I have contacted several other company’s to look over my garden and to say they are shocked and disgusted is an understatement. I only wish I had NOT wasted my money and used this AWFUL company.

AVOID AVOID AVOID* DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY TO CARRY OUT WORK FOR YOU. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 15 MONTHS FOR MARC AND HIS TEAM TO RECTIFY SHODDY WORKMANSHIP IN MY GARDEN. ISSUES THAT WERE RAISED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF WORK BEING COMPLETED. MARC HAS GIVEN EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE FOR NOT COMPLETING THE WORK AND HAS NOW TAKEN TO IGNORING MY CALLS AND EMAILS. I HAVE A DISABLED CHILD WITH MOBILITY PROBLEMS WHO IS UNSBLE TO USE GARDEN SAFELY DUE TO THIS. PLEASE CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE TO DO YOUR LANDSCAPING!!!!

PLEASE READ:
I am aware that it is the first Trustpilot review for this company, which presents themselves to be local, professional, friendly etc..
It took me over a year to calm down, digest, and leave a realistic review after an extremely negative experience, at the same time making use of 1 year warranty provided, so, hopefully, I would not have to contact Cambus-Fencing Ltd., ever again.
I have decided to get artificial lawn because of the drainage issues in the back garden and getting a puppy. Have contacted Cambus-Fencing ("CF" further in the text) in March 2020, Mark (the Boss) have provided me with a very competitive quote (contacted 5 traders beforehand and thought that I have done my reesarch properly), which I was happy with.
1.Due to Coronavirus, I had no issues with the job being delayed twice, but even in the beginning I have got a problem with payment method. I have contacted the company letting them know that I would like to make an initial deposit via CC ( which was not problem to start with), but when it was time to pay, I have been told that their mobile PDQ terminal is not operational at the moment. So I had to make a bank transfer (which is not the best way to pay in case of disputes).
2. While I was unhappy with payment method I still had to contact Cambus-Fencing office and speak to their office worker regarding delays, then, somehow, I was accused by Mark for being rude to their office worker, because I was too demanding and have spoken with a weird accent. I have not taken it seriously because I have been looking forward to the artificial lawn installed, avoiding any conflict, since £1000 deposit has been paid already.
3. When the work had started in May 2020, on the first day of project I could see that the workers started ground work digging the wrong measurements of the lawn to be installed, instead of 6 meters length by 5 meters wide, they were digging 5 by 6, so Mark could not even read their own plans and pass it to the workers correctly. When I have addressed him with that problem I was confronted with the horrible attitude arrogance, being asked to pay extra for all their wrong digging despite their own mistakes and then was accused of :

1. Being petty - because I didn't want to pay extra (for ground works and their own plan mistakes). CF wanted to charge me an excessive amount (even if you calculate price per square meter) for work being their fault in the first place. I have agreed to pay extra- but I felt like I had no choice if I want this project to be completed.
2. Being told that workers will be removed from doing the job at my back garden if I would refuse to pay extra. It was absolutely horrible when your back garden looks like a building site already.
3. Then Mark had brought at least 6 workers from somewhere to have a look at my back garden, guys which have NEVER seen before, and he had started an argument about payment in front of 8 men, and I was the only woman in my own back garden, honestly, I was terrified. He was extremely rude and disrespectful in front of complete strangers. Even my neighbors have overheard this argument and it did not look right to them.
4. At the end, CF had installed the artificial grass required, but they had to remove and fix one side twice because the workers (they were really nice but looked like they have been employed very recently and have no clue what they are doing). Mark would appear twice a day and would provide them with some sort of guidance. I had to keep an eye on the quality of their work from my first floor window asking them to remove stones from the sand base which these new workers would just leave as they were doing the sand base. Completely unprofessional. That is why that they had to fix the grass twice to remove stones form underneath it.
5. After they have finished installing the grass, the mud and mess around my property was obvious, then I was told then a "Cleaner" would come at some point soon, but no communication, no timescale, nothing. I have phoned Mark and asked why he is not responsible for cleaning, he has told me that he is busy. It's a joke. So in order to use my garden, I had to power wash it myself the same day, I could not leave it as it was even for a day, my downstairs would be ruined otherwise with a dog, child and enormous mess left in it.
CONCLUSION
I had to pay around £2000 for a quite small 6 by 5 metres project, I was reasonably happy with the results and the grass being still fine after a year, but I would never recommend anybody to spend their hard earned money in such way, with so much stress, threats, cleaning after workers and anxiety (unless you enjoy financial and mental torture).
P.S. Unfortunately, some residents of our estate have gone through the similar negative experience with this company.
