I highly recommend rise and recline chair from Camelot. It is made with the utmost care. It’s not only functional but also extremely comfortable and simple to use every day.
The entire purchasing process was seamless, from the initial advice through to delivery. 5 stars!
I am writing this review as I am so upset with the way Camelot has handled my problem considering their business is solely aimed at vulnerable people.My husband is late 80s has limited mobility and is registered blind so we purchased a chair to aid mobility to carry out basic needs of just mobilising to the bathroom. It soon became a godsend to our needs. Within less than 18 months the chair was returned on 2 occasions with a faulty mechanism. On the second occasion Camelot had the chair picked up last October and Charlie understood the urgency to have it back. After 2 weeks I began calling Charlie probably 3 times a week as we were desperate to have the chair back as confinement to a normal chair for hours was distressing for my husband. After weeks and weeks of phone calls Charlie informs me the chair was lost! We were approaching Christmas and Charlie had no resolution for us other than saying about Camelot making an insurance claim. We were left with no solution and Charlie was claiming I was harassing him with all my phone calls I was very upset. After taking advice and with no correspondence from Camelot I have now filed a county court claim and borrowed money to replace the chair to give my husband some mobility and dignity.
The judgement has been filed and now Camelot have made contact! All I want is a refund so I can pay for the replacement chair but even this is not an option they are considering….shame on you we have been put through some difficult months with you!,,,

Only required a new part for my Camelot chair that I had damaged but the service was excellent, helpful and speedy. The spare part arrived the next day.
