Drama!!! They are selling products that are out of stock and cannot specify a delivery time. Contact with support is terrible—they just offer a refund, or suggest buying more expensive or used items. I have been waiting for 2 weeks after payment. There is still no tracking link for the shipment.

So much happened in the past 3days with Camaraland Sandton. Back and forth. But Phillip went the extra mile. He is very respectful towards the customer, keeps you updated with what's happening. He managed to make a plan to get my stock even though there wasn't. I haven't received it yet he said he will do a overnight shipping and will get it early Monday morning. So I will give feedback on that part once I receive it. But Phillip is an absolute great salesman...

The guys at Camera Land were excellent
The guys at Camera Land were excellent. They were personable, knowledgeable, their prices were very competitive, their delivery was right on time. I’ll always include camera land anytime I’m looking for optics or photography equipment. It was enjoyable doing business with them!
Poor Communication
I ordered an item from Cameraland on 25 February and it hasn't shipped yet. That would be fine, but I've written to the company TWICE and get NO RESPONSE. Not good at all. I'll think twice before ordering from Camerland again.
Very bad business practice
Very bad business practice. Return a lens (Samyang 35-150) because of a wrong mount. I need an L-Mount but accidentally got the E-Mount as I saw it cheaper which my mistakes. Now the guy on their shop called me that they can't accept the return as they found a small scratches on the lens hood. Which I didn't cause as I never had a chances to try the lens or use it. If I have noticed it I would have put it as one of the reasons why I returned the lens. The case would have faster I guess? But I never had a chances to inspect it carefully before returning it as I immediately put the lens back on it boxes to reduce any possible scratches on it.
The lens was not even on 14 days when I returned it which fall from what they promised of "returning without reasons"
The guy who called said that they would contact Samyang about the products and if they can provide a replacement that's when they can only process or accept the returns. Samyang is known to have a very poor QC as already mentioned on all reviews and Youtube, but the guy couldn't bother about it!
Cameraland is really trying to get rid of their stock of these particular lens especially the E-Mount as I am sure they knew the problems with these lenses is very bad compared to the L-Mount. Which I say a very fraudelent practices and breach of their 14 days warranty period!
Now I am still waiting for my refund which I am not sure if I will still get it!!!

Extremely dissapointing
I am a photographer, I needed a product urgently and according to the Cameraland website the product was in stock and could be collected in their store in Alkmaar, I drove more than 30 kilometers to Alkmaar only to be told by the shop assistant the product was out of stock even though I showed him the product on the phone and that it states it was in stock. I had to order the product from another webshop and had to pay an extra 4.99 euros for postage cost. Less than an hour after departing the store I sent them an email inquiring if the product was in stock, I did this because I could see on their website the product was in stock at their store in Alkmaar, I received a reply confirming the product was in stock and could be collected in the store. Either the shop assistant did not know his job or he just did not want to help adequately. I found this highly unprofessional from s renound camera store in the Netherlands. Down the drain the transport money, down the drain the extra postage cost, but most annoying is the hassle I went through.

The customer service is so far okay. however, I have just received a brand new camera in the post (i paid for a brand new one)
however, when i unbox it, it has few scratches on it and its hard scratches. i am
really disappointed for this and I waited for so long for it to come back in stock again.
but I called the customer service and they said i can send it back and refund.
This is lack of trust tbh. i paid online, i trust i will get a brand new one from the factory. now they sent me a camera looks like someone used it before/ refurbished one?
this is totally unacceptable and i will never purchase from cameraland.nl again.
Miserable customer service
I asked them about the ordered item that wasn’t sent yet, but no answer from them on facebook,email etc. Extremely bad customer service. Probably a few employees are paid for nothing.

I finally found the right reflector in cameraland.nl, the day afyer the purchase the item was shipped to italy and they sent an email with tracking information. I received the parcel after few days here in Italy. I'm very satisfied of the service provided from them :)
poor service
I ordered a lens online but it was not possible to select a pick up point and I chose home delivery. Got an email that it was in the store, so I went there. Store was empty, with a few employees walking around, I went the counter and waited and waited. No one acknowledged me, no hello, nothing. After 15 minutes I was asked if I needed help. The order was still on the way, left with nothing and was told it was not possible to have the purchase mailed to my home as it was in transit. Horrible experience. Never again.

if your product is to be repaired they you're doomed with cameraland!
I bought camera from this company and it went stuck with software. camera land told me to contact techrepair cause they are their service company. After almost a month hassle with techrepair and nothing being done I contacted cameraland and their customer service lady told me that I should take a contact with techrepair cause something went wrong and they don't have enough info.
Maybe shop is good but when you end up sending product they sold you to repair they are part of the mess between sony & techrepair.
If a company like cameraland wants to wash their hands from products they are selling and techrepair service they have chosen to work with, then you better beware who you're buying your product from.
Their customer support is worthless and I certainly won't buy anything from them ever again.
