Price was good and trade in value reasonable. Just took a while to value trade in. Also had to pay to send in lens for exchange. These two factors meant took one star off.

Not new product as specified
Bought a camera and tripod. Missing tripod as discussed in earlier review. When opened up camera box to inspect and assemble camera. No plastic film on lcd screen as you would normally expect to have and two large thumbprints on LCD screen from what appears like a previous recipient of this camera. I would certainly say this camera has been returned from a previous order then shipped to myself classed as new.
Missing part of order
Ordered a camera and tripod.
Only received the camera and no tripod.
Hopefully will be resolved urgently but service to date is unbelievably poor from such a prominent company.
Stay away - fraud!
Stay away!
Ordered a camera for Christmas off of Amazon from Camix. Camera arrived, I used then when I went to connect to the computer or tv it wouldn’t connect. On sending the camera back (with a 1 year warranty on the camera) we’ve been told that the warranty doesn’t cover if the camera has a fault and won’t connect to computer or tv. AWFUL!! We now have no camera and £800 down.
They are true Scamers
I purchased a lens from Camix through Amazon. When the item arrived, it appeared to be used and some accessories were missing, so I returned it through Amazon’s return process.
After the return, I received an email from the seller stating that a refund had been issued, but only for half of the purchase amount. I contacted Amazon customer support, and they informed me they would investigate the issue.
Two days later, I called the seller to ask about the partial refund. During the call, the seller accused me of swapping the lens and spoke in an aggressive and unprofessional manner, shouting and making accusations. I immediately contacted Amazon again to report this behaviour. At that time, Amazon confirmed that the returned item was still with Royal Mail and had not yet been delivered to the seller.
This raises serious concerns, as the seller made accusations before even receiving the returned item. Since then, the seller has stopped responding to my calls.
They are scamming people and treating them after.
Super customer service
A great service from camix and would definitely recommend
DO NOT BUY FROM CAMIX
Camera received was faulty that I purchased via ebay. Still have not had a response after nearly a month. The regular Camus team do not have access to eBay purchases. A waste of £650!
Update: I have sent the camera off to canon to be assessed and they have confirmed that this is grey market stock/a parallel import and therefore isn’t eligible for warranty! It is £300 to fix.

Placed an order and agreed a delivery…
Placed an order and agreed a delivery date over the phone. Delivery date passed so called up. Then got told will have e call back… didn’t get the call back but got an email with a postage tracking number on. I called back and asked if they had just ordered the postage and was told yes. Made me too late for the photography project I was ordering for so had to cancel it and get a refund then go to John Lewis instead
Amazing service
It's nice experience with these guys. Shipped on time. My camera is delivered in two days in a perfect packaging. I'll say just research for it before buying for prices as i found their price bit high. But these guys are amazing great customer service
Good price and prompt delivery
Perfect all round!
Really well priced product and super fast delivery. What more could you want 😊
Five star experience, would shop again
I scarcely ever write reviews. However Camix were brilliant for my purchase of a Canon lens recently. My first time using Camix. It can often be hard to discern between UK and imported goods with photographic equipment providers. And even with the UK companies, it's often unclear whether VAT is included in the price (important to me, since photography is my business). However with Camix the prices (very reasonable, by the way) were very clearly stated with and without VAT, and I received a VAT invoice upon purchase. I even nabbed a small % off for paying by bank transfer. Win win.
Thanks, Camix!
All round great service 👍👍👍
