I 1000% recommend CampEasy Iceland. They live up to their name of making everything extremely easy. I chose them because they have a self pick up option and our flight landed at 4am. They sent us detailed instructions with pickup details with a code to unlock a box to get our keys and had videos loaded onto the tablet to teach us how to use our campervan. We made the bed, took a nap, and headed out for our adventure. WiFi was fantastic (we spoke to other people at campgrounds and seems like their WiFi was not as strong as ours), campervan was great - and all details were so well thought out. Checkout was fast and efficient - and employee Natalia was extremely helpful and friendly with everything. Thank you!

The information tablet is absolutely great, with a lot of great places on it to discover. We had trouble with the car because a stone was stuck in de breaks. Via livechat they helped us immediately, went to the nearest garage to let it fixed and campeasy took care of the payment. Thank you

Great trip with CampEasy!
First of all I want to say 'thank you' for all managers and workers of CampEasy for their excellent customer service and support.
We spent one week with our CampEasy camper and I can describe this experience as perfect. We had Easy Clever 4x4 X and it allowed us drove 'F' roads what helps us saw incredeble places and got a lot of fun.
Despite the fact that our camper was more than 5 y.o. it was clean, warm, comfortable and cozy. We had all needed supplies and also our "Caren" tablet with full guide with recommendations and needed information (weather, roads, attractions, campsites, etc.).
Highly recommend CampEasy!

We had some difficulties with the general understanding of the definitions of the f-roads which resulted in some limitations, because of the recent changes made by the Icelandic Authorities, but everything was set straight by Mr. Hauksson, who had a serious and professional approach.
I have revised my rating, because the attitude of Mr. Hauksson was excellent and exceeded my expectations.
My next booking will be also through CampEasy.

We booked our CampEasy camper van to tour around Iceland in two weeks. We had a great time. The van was first class with everything we needed. We ate out only twice, the rest of the time we cooked for ourselves. We loved the freedom of not having to pre book sites. Iceland as a country was fascinating with masses to see and do. Would I recommend CampEasy and Iceland- definitely

Just finished a fantastic 16-day trip through Iceland with the easy ranger 4x4, well maintained car, had everything I needed. And when I asked for some suggestions after spending to much time in the westfjords, they told me that missing the glaciers in the north east would be a big mistake, and they where right it was amazing. I even took a picture of their other suggestions so I don't forget when I come back and then I choose their services again. Definitely most amazing country I have visited. See you back again, Valentina and Florentina.

This was the most excellent 15-day trip! Our little CampEasy Iceland 4x4 van took us everywhere we wanted to go and “Caren” our internet tablet, made sure we were connected the whole way. Natalia gave us some extremely helpful tips and information before we left with the van. Be sure to listen to her carefully!!!

We rented the Easy Small with CampEasy for our 10 day trip to Iceland and it was everything we asked for. Even though (I think) we used the smallest van of their range it was plenty of space for me and my sister. The van came equipped with everything we needed and the choices of optional things to rent was vast with reasonable prices too. A special thank you to Simon who helped facilitate the check-in and even drove us to our hotel after check-out. I would definitely recommend this company for your Iceland roadtrip.

Easy to navigate online
On arrival the camper exceeded my expectations.
Well appointed everything we needed ready and helpful advice on travelling in Iceland. Natalia was superb with helping us with good information. The weather was ‘tricky’ and we were comfortable in the camper always.
The scenery and landscape is dramatic.
Enjoyed every minute.

My boyfriend and I did a 10 day excursion around Iceland in the Easy Ranger 4x4 and the experience exceeded expectations. It was the perfect size for the two of us and our luggage. Valentina and Saymon both did an excellent job navigating us through the check in and check out process. Highly recommend utilizing Camp Easy to travel around this beautiful country.

We've booked a few campervan/motorhome in our lifetime but nothing quite like CampEasy, especially with the best customer experience from our service agent, Valentina. Here's our experience during our trip end May/early June..

PRE-ARRIVAL
Starting with the website, it was an easy navigation with all the information you may need readily available, some with abit of deeper searching but that's perfectly normal. Selecting the perfect campervan itself with clear cut optional selections made it a breeze. For the curious, we chose the Easy fun (however do consider the Easy Auto if you are not a stick person) with Super Service - Roadside Assistance and Zero Risk Insurance for our sanity and peace of mind while moving around the ring road. We also took unlimited Wifi (super crucial), inverter and easy start pack (table & chairs) - all chargeable but we found it not exorbitantly. What we got as complimentary was additional duvet (yes please get it, it saved us!), laundry rack, and all the pots, pans, cutleries, plates, bowls provided were more than you would need for 2 people. Once you made the booking, you will receive an almost immediate confirmation thru your given email.

Weeks after making the booking, we had some enquiries about the batteries in the campervan (which btw has 3! and that is more than enough without plugging into a campsite powersocket hence saving you a couple thousand ISK) and some other small questions and the response time was very prompt, in the space of a few hours, all thanks to the efficiency of Valentina! Im sure the other service agents would be great as well but ours was the lovely Valentina :)

ARRIVAL
The day has arrived and we reached Iceland albeit some unfortunate miss-flight due to a ridiculous short transit time via Copenhagen but it's all part of the adventure! We arrived at CampEasy to pick up our lovely van and was met by Valentina who has very kindly and clearly explained all the necessary information around the van and off we went to start our journey. Point to note, do take a video or many pictures of your selected vehicle for safety, just in case. I would add if there were a small feedback on the van (although it is a rather new van - 23/24 registered vechicle) is that there were alot of dust coming out from the back cushion / sleeping area and it definitely could do with a powerful vacuuming for the next customer. Nevertheless, with the amount of duvet, sheets provided, it covered the entire cushion area perfectly. Oh, another word of advice, if i may, is bring a travel size Febreeze spray to be used on the duvet, sheets and pillows every day, just for a fresh smell 🙂

DURING
Nothing much to say here as we went about our journey however I will note that CampEasy will send you notifications via the tablet and email informing you of drastic weather changes or if the volcano erupted (such as our case) just so you can plan your movement accordingly. On that note, be super flexible of your itinerary as the weather can change very quickly and it will disrupt your plans. So go with an open mind and heart, and you will enjoy Iceland as much as we had!

DEPARTURE
Returning the van was easy (just make sure you also fill up to full tank the same as when you received it), and after some checks, we were on our way to our airport hotel via the complimentary shuttle from CampEasy, driven personally by our lovely Valentina.

I hope this review helps you on deciding the best campervan company but most of all, to come to Iceland and take back the best memories of this amazing country.

They were very friendly and I loved the vibe!! It was a part of my dream to hit the road in Iceland the car (small easy) was a fantasy vehicle that took me to all my destinations without a problem!!!

CampEasy vans are perfect for a ring road tour of Iceland. Their staff and itinerary’s that you can make yourself were perfect. I’ll definitely do it again thanks CampEasy & Valentina who helped us

Had an adventure of a lifetime. We rented an Easy Clever 4x4 which proved handy in the wintry conditions. The campervan was super easy to drive, extremely comfortable living quarters, the heating was warm and slept very well. CampEasy made our journey from start to finish a breeze. Would thoroughly recommend them for any intrepid adventurers wanting to explore Iceland at their own pace!

just perfect! made our experience around iceland the best we could have. we were worried it would be cold as it was winter, but the heater is def working (we even did not use some of the additional blankets and duvets!). the team is super supportive and ready to help at any times, Edoardo and Valentina were adorable. thank you!
