Back seat is an effort to convert to a bed. Toilet/shower room is very small. Lots of corners to bang your head. But it was very nice to drive.

This is our second time renting from CanaDream and third time renting a camper van for a road trip, so we know a bit about camper vans that I can tell you we were quite disappointed with the quality and service with this camper van. Supplies was inadequately prepared, with items missing from their list. The interior of the camper was quite poorly maintained (dented fridge, cracked dashboard and windshield). Also, the the floorboard was dusty with the previous renters' snack bits and hair (!!!) when we first got the van. The driving of the car also had quite a few issues; numerous times it had a faulty tire sensory signal (can't detect front right tire pressure), back up cameras not reverting to Driving mode and reverse sensor stopped working properly at one point, in addition, the hand brake needed to be pushed and lifted at a certain angle. If everything happened on its own, it wouldn't have been much of a problem. BUT when they ALL happened on the same trip within a few days, that was rather stressful, when all we wanted to do was to have a little relaxing getaway.

I picked up the camper van with a terrible dog odor. Smelled like a there were 5 large sized dogs kenneled in there. I had to remind them after I dropped it off that this is the smell I have it’s been experiencing the whole time and it wasn’t from my dog which I did not bring. The toilet ran water all night, which used up all my fresh water, and I was not at a location with freshwater to refill. The gas did not work The awning, which I was planning on using to keep the sun off of us doesn’t work, and I was told after the fact that they are all disabled. The bottom line is the vehicle that I rented was a decent set up, but it was not maintained properly, and they were not upfront about the awning. I was reminded that this issue of the awnings being disabled on all the vehicles was in the fine print. Even though they looked brand new and in working order when I picked it up, I just assumed it functioned. The first lady I spoke to was rude when I stated all these issues and was mad at me that I didn’t call ahead. The second lady that I dealt with was quite nice and helpful handling these issues. They gave me a one day discount, but I still ended up paying $1000 for five nights.

Everything worked…but not really thought through for the traveler. - who needs aTV on holiday? - why provide coat hangers when there is no wardrobe - too little storage space in the trunk because of the pointless engine for the bed - no hooks or small storage areas, other than in the cabin.

The vehicle itself was in great condition and exactly what we needed for the trip. Pricing was fair and transparent, which made everything that much easier to plan around.
