Copthorne races
Well organised. Very reasonably price. Very friendly staff and volunteers.
Copthorne 50k.
Great day out regardless of the weather. Storm Burt didn't hold back. Challenging course including stepping stones & some very steep ups & downs. Wasn't quite there with my fitness but gave it a go. Great amounts of help & support from all the volunteers at the aid stations made it very welcoming.
If it was easy everyone would be doing it.
Ultimately a very rewarding day, Loved every minute.
These guys know how to do races
Super friendly facilities and volunteers provide perfect venue for your first ultramarathon as well as venturing longer distances. The route is entertaining with everything you may want - steep climbs and descents, or gebtle runnable one too. Everything for everyone. I've raced 100km twice and will think of coming back again.
Canary events are simply brilliant
Canary events are simply brilliant. Instructions are clear, GPX routes and markings are good, marshalling and aid station staff are positive and encouraging, and there is a charitable windfall too. On the downside, it is type two fun. There’s mud, hills, cow dung, steps, and weather. It is not easy. Apparently there are views (if the rain lifts).
Beautifully brutal
Beautifully brutal, amazing race amazing staff!!! Can't reccomend enough

Not easy trail running with 100s' of stairs.
Fantastic - thank u everyone
Great: volunteers were super supportive and helpful, filling bottles, having a chat and generally being a positive force which was invaluable
Could do better: my hearing is starting to wane (age!) and I found it tricky to hear the race briefing, even up close with the echo in room. Perhaps a small mic - PA system would help?
Race route - without following those who had the GPX file loaded on their watch I’d have got lost more frequently. It would be good to alert first timers that even though the route is marked, people switching signs and removing does happen so it’s recommended to have easy access to the route. As a first timer I wasn’t expecting it to be as tricky to negotiate the route. This isn’t a criticism of the route planners at all, just a belt and braces approach would be wise to recommend for newbies!
Fantastic organisation
Fantastic organisation, lovely low-key races and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Full marks!
Superb route & event
Superb event (Two Towers), really appreciate the effort and thought that had gone into route planning and marking, thoroughly enjoyable as a result. Support from volunteers was also top notch, especially considering it was overnight!
Two Towers, 5 Thousand Stars ✨⭐🌟
Two Towers is a brilliant race at night through the Surrey Hills 🤩 This was my second time and I'll be back again, and for other Canary events.
Lovely, warm HQ in the village hall. Friendly and professional crew. Great medals and trophies. It's a low key event but gets the important things right.
Course was decently marked but you do need a gpx really. Nav was still a bit tricky at speed in the dark, but that's part of the challenge.
I've recommended to friends who have been similarly impressed, and I'm looking forward to other Canary events!
Races for runners, built by runners!
The organisation and support from all at The Canary Trail Events team is fantastic. A truly fantastic race experience from start to finish.
Great all round!
The Two Towers: great organisation, routing/signing, feed stations, atmosphere, and lovely people. Would definitely recommend and would consider some of their other events!

Second time I have run with them
Second time I have run with them. It’s quite different compared to more popular races. I reckon other race organisers sacrifice harder segments / paths in favour of easier logistics. These guys will throw at you the most grim routes. Look at The Two Tower race. You got the climb to Leith Hill, BoxHill climb and Satan’s Steps in a single. Pretty brutal. Highly recommended.

Great events by a great team
Beer 21…
Completely unique event in a tough setting. Not for the inexperienced. Course and area are beautiful but very technical.
Organiser and organisation, top notch and accomodating in all dietary requirements. Be great to see more people and record number of laps completed each as a result rather than just a dnf.
We will definitely be back
Beer 21 event
Beer 21 event - highly recommend this run for 2025. A lovely route with small sections of it being technical, but that adds to the fun. Very well organised and friendly staff and volunteers.
