I arrived late night and was very apprehensive, the nurses were brilliant and John spoke to me on the phone to put me at ease. The following morning John came to see me and explained everything perfectly. I met with Dr Umutsakarya. I had my surgery that afternoon - being in a different country certain things are done differently but felt 100% safe throughout. Lots of rest and sleep minimised my pain and helped the healing. Today I fly home back to England, very happy! Thank you all ❤️

I came here for upper & lower eyelid. Unfortunately i was only able to have upper due to technical issues that were needed to be fixed to be able to be under general anaesthetic. I was upset but John assured me i can come back in as little as 2 weeks for lower, at no extra cost only original price as was no fault of my own. John and Dr Verdi have been amazing as much as i tryed to talk them into doing lower under local anaesthetic they would not put me at risk which i appreciate. Everything from the airport to the hotel to the hospital has been a breeze. No pain whatsoever during surgery and my results already look amazing. I advise you bring English cash for surgery and Lira for creams (around £25) John helped me get a consultation for Rhinoplasty & tummy tuck while i was here. Nothing was too much for him. Hes lovely. Thank you to everyone at Cankaya you will see me very soon to finish my surgery and for other procedures in the future <3

Visited Cankaya Medical Center Izmir, Sept 2025 and what a brilliant experience, John was so helpful, experienced and 100% attention to me having the best customer experience. I had lots of questions and he answered them brilliantly. From the moment I landed was in good hands, with transfers, vidoes of how to get from the hotel to the hospital, literally a 10 min walk! He and Tank on the day made sure I and the person I met and ended up friends with (even both of us are coming back next April for some procedures ) were fully informed of the process, bloods, scans the procedures we were having, everything from start to finish as our personal translators. We had upper eyelid surgery so if anyone if the UK is thinking about do it, its less than half the price but with fantastic, surgeons and results! Also we met with other surgeons about the other procedures we wanted to have, they made time to speak with us and were 100% honest saying what we should think about having and what in their opinion we did not need doing, a lot of surgeons will you you need xy and z and they were like no no you only need x&y ! ..... 100% see why people come to turkey and if you are on your own you will fine - the hotel tends to having people from UK and you just get chatting - john also was arranging a night out the a group on the Saturday if people wanted to meet up - thanks so much John and Tank

I booked this clinic for #blepharoplasty upper and lower lids. My support was John who guided me from the start to the end. John was amazing and attentive. The whole process was made easy thanks to him. He spoke very good English and was able to translate all conversations with other staff members. My surgeon was DR Furkan and what can I say, he was the most nicest and experienced in his field that I gladlychose to do my operation. The result is better than I expected. I live my new eyes. I would happily return in the future.

From start to finish everything went extremely smoothly
From collection from the air port
They had a nice taxi service waiting at the airport with my name on a sign.

From there we went to meet the
medical team by who we were joined by John , who arranged everything before hand via messages and voice notes so it was finally nice to meet him
We went streight to the hospital from the airport ,
It was very clean the people who worked there were nice and helpful.

I’ve never felt so relax the team were amazing , doctors staff ,
anything I needed there were there for me everyone always smiling 😊

John who was our interpreter , well what can I say we have met a friend for life , as soon as you meet him he has the biggest smile on his face , John came to all my appointments with me ,
even when I went to theatre and after he was waiting to reassure me everything had gone well and it had
Or incase I had any questions.

I had chosen to have rhinoplasty , and my eye brows lifted .
I also had hudded eye bags removed , as the heaviness’ caused me to have migraine’s everyday this was all done at the same time taking around 5 hrs or less

I was given pain relief and if I needed more they would kindly assist me making sure I was comfortable.

I had swelling to my eyes a day after the operation
but it had all gone by day 6 so when I returned home on day 7
I was back to normal again,
With just plasters on My nose.

The hospital were also really good with my partner who came too
They even gave him an extra hospital bed so he could stay in the same room with me while I recovered we stayed for 2 days with all our meals included at the hospital.

After hospital we then went to the hotel
It was fresh clean and a good service
Room was cleaned everyday , fresh towels
Breakfast included (buffet) room service food till 11 pm. Tv no English channels though

The location is in the centre next to shops restaurants and harbour

I have recommended cankaya medical centre in Izmir turkey to all my friends
And for anyone who needs reassurance

I had rhinoplasty on the 05.08.2025 Soon as I arrived at the airport my name was on the board and got transferred straight away . Staff was all welcoming and lovely
Then arrived in the hospital where I then dropped my stuff into the hospital room and proceeded to have my bloods etc done . The following morning was the day of surgery I couldn’t asked for a better surgeon he made me so comfortable in many ways . And his secretary was even more helpful always answering back to calls messages etc . One thing I would say is pay extra and ask them to book you the swish otel as it’s very local life and not much close by other than food places etc the beach was 40 mins away . But after surgery I just wanted to chill but would have been nice with how hot it was to have had a pool . I’m in love with my new nose and like 10 of my friends have messaged regarding theirs too

Dr fukan was lovely,the procedure he did for me was upper and lower blephorplasty. There has been no pain not much swelling and the lines where he has cut are lovely and clean,the transfer team were fabulous. To tank and john who were my translators were amazing thank you for talking me through everything. Surgery was only 6 days ago but they are healing very nicely. Thanknyou to the team at cankaya😍🥰

My first time solo traveling and having surgery went a lot easier then I thought. I had Rihnoplaty done by Opr. Dr. Umut Sakarya at this clinic 7 days ago and I got exactly what I asked for. Thanks to my translator Can who answered all my questions and helped me feel like I wasn't completely alone, having a driver was also so helpful staying at a beautiful hotel was a bonus.
