Pony Express would be more efficient…

Pony Express would be more efficient and speedy. Apparently, they take 10 days to transport a package from Sydney, NS to Halifax which is a distance of a little over 400 km or around 4.5 hours. It took them 4 days to pick the item up and, according to the expected delivery date, it'll take them 6 days to get the package between cities. I'm still waiting on delivery so it may even be worse. This level of service is abysmal and embarrassing.
Update: they've pushed the delivery date back again. Customer service just shrugs. This company is a joke.

I pay $590 for express shipping my…

I pay $590 for express shipping my order was made on may 31. Is June 12 and I have been calling them and they finally told me that they got no drivers available to deliver to me. Then the agent that they put me whit think he owns the business told me that I have to wait. Like guys I pay for express because I need my items that is 4 tires for my pick up truck and honestly is the worst shipping career.

Worst delivery company EVER

Worst delivery company EVER. Do NOT use if you value your customers. The customer service was awful. One of the agent even tried to scam me by asking to call me for my credit card(???). When I asked for another agent, the new agent told me they couldn't help me and I had to contact the seller to authorize the change. So they went from "pay us $10 no problem" to "can't help, contact the seller".

I already contacted the seller 9 days earlier to authorize the change but apparently it got lost somewhere as they did nothing for 9 days.

Now the delivery date is scheduled for Monday and they tell me I have to contact the seller (its Friday evening) before they can change the address.

The entire company feels like a scam and they cannot go bankrupt fast enough.

AVOID. AT. ALL. COST

worst company ever

I shipped three parcels to the same customer, but they have been in transit since June 2nd, and we have not received any support. I paid $400 for the delivery, yet only one box was delivered out of the three. The other two remain in the same status—held for pickup—despite the shipping label clearly specifying delivery to the receiver's address.

Additionally, the driver in our region refused the larger parcels from my employees. Although the system accepted the parcels, he stated that it would be the last time he would take such-sized shipments.

We conduct our business as a company, sending fragile items, and currently, about 20% of these items arrive damaged—compared to only 0.5% when shipped via UPS. This situation is very disappointing, and I would appreciate your assistance in resolving it promptly.

Useless company

Was waiting for parts for my truck last month....took several phone calls and messages to find out where it was....arrived late. Had to cancel the garage appointment. I went to order more truck parts and specifically tried to avoid these Muppets.....so got shipping done with landmark.....who handed it to Canpar and now it's sitting in their bottomless pit of Kerfuckery in Etobicoke! Have to yet again cancel my truck appointment! Such a useless bunch of imbeciles!

Worse than Fedex..

Worse than Fedex... and that's pretty bad.

Driver didn't attempt delivery, I know because I was home all day expecting him. Got an email notification that same day that my package was available for pickup at a local "Smartspot" which is a Hasty Market where parcels for pickup are piled in an aisle close to the cash and at the back of the store fully exposed and unsecure. I went there the next day and was told my package wasn't there. I contacted Canpar and the agent told me she would refer my issue to "dispatch"... the next day nothing but crickets.

Next day went back to Hasty Market again was told the tracking number indicates the package hasn't arrived. The attendant then searched using my last name and still nothing. He searched using my first name and he found it...package was there. WTF?

When I arrived home from picking up my package there was a delivery notice saying "sorry we missed you", it wasn't there when I left to pick up my package and it was dated the current day... two days after I had received email notice that my package was available for pick up at the "Smart Centre". Figure that one out.

Canpar is a mess. I will never purchase anything from anyone who uses them a delivery service.

Unreliable

First time we used the they said "attempted delivery " for five days. We were home all the time and they finally left the shipment for pickup in a town 8 km away. Second time is now. According to to tracking has been in their distribution centrenow forthree days with no action. Called customer service who promised to call back but never has.

STOLEN GOODS!! DO NOT USE!!!

Shipped parcel to my son, and they attempted delivery once and refused to try again although their website says they will try twice. Held package at a facility that would have cost my son more in taxi fees than the package was worth. 6 months later I get charged another fee for the package being returned. Which they hadn't! I contacted the second party service I used to book them and told them what happened. A week later my package showed up EMPTY. THEY STOLE WHAT WAS INSIDE. TO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!

NO HOME DELIVERY EVEN WE PAID FOR HOME DELIVERY

WHEN I MENTIONED UNIT NUMBER AND ENTRY DIAL UP NUMBER WHY THEY DO NOT BOTHER TO DELIVER AT UNIT INSTEAD PLACING A NOTE ON OUTSIDE THE BUILDING TO COLLECT FROM THEIR OFFICE. WHAT'S THE PUPRPOSE OF PAYING DELIVERY FEES.

No Customer Service Available

Online it says that "shipment is out for delivery", but does not arrive. It is now Saturday and there is no one available at "customer service" to explain where shipment is, why it did not arrive, or when it might actually show up.

This makes 3 times in a now they have delivered my parcels to the wrong house and street. Stop using Google and actually read the freaking street signs!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We have one shipment that seems to be lost and another where one box is missing. Their tracking system has not posted updates in 2 weeks. Something is drastically wrong with this carrier.

UNRELIABLE. DO NOT USE IT FOR URGENT MATTER

Canpar delivered one of the two packages, but the other package—essential for our festival this weekend—was not delivered. We took a significant risk by choosing Canpar, when it would have been wiser to use UPS, which is much more reputable. Additionally, Canpar hasn't even made an effort to improve customer satisfaction by allowing us to pick up the item at their warehouse. We rely on Canpar for certain locations where other couriers are unavailable. However, if there are alternative options, please avoid using Canpar, especially when you need something urgently.

Since i can't leave a 0 rating

Since i can't leave a 0 rating. Parcel not delivered, held at terminal, told it would arrive, and then nothing, to call and have them say this would be delivered for real this time, and yet nothing. Now will wait another week to see if it will ever be delivered.

Canpar is a JOKE!

Package was shipped on April 28th from Orangeville, Ontario. I called on May 2nd to see where package was and it was still in the warehouse and was told it would be delivered that night. Never received package. Called back on May 5th and they lost my package in the Peterborough Warehouse. It was located the next day and I was told it would go to Ottawa for delivery. Checked tracking to find out it went back to Etobicoke. It has now been in Canpar’s hands for 18 days and they said it would be delivered today. I still have not seen my package. The supervisor advised us to do a claim, but the tracer is saying it will be delivered. Can’t file a claim because the website won’t work. Don’t ship with Canpar.
